Oh yes, i realize this is way to early but something just clicked and I feel obligated to share my revelations.

First off is what made me have the idea is a recent article and also the unveiling of the set Shards of Alara: The Known Multiverse (http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/daily/db28), Shards of Alara (http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/arcana/1549). Now direct your attention to the plane of Rabiah:

Expansions: Arabian Nights

Once a single plane, the desert realm of Rabiah was subject to a planar event of unknown origin: one thousand nearly identical mirrors of the plane sprang into being, creating 1,001 different Rabiahs. These iterations evolved over the centuries, some independent and others interdependent.

Many elements of Rabiah are taken from the One Thousand and One Nights, but the main story depicted in Magic comics is an original story of five separate "copies" of the planeswalker Taysir, each one connected to a different color of magic, and their combined struggle against the dark sorcerer Nailah.
And now one line from the announcement of the october large set
Five worlds share one fate. Now the bolded part of the rabiah planes description just seem to interlock with the line from Shards. This leads me to believe that the Shards block will be located on the same plane as Arabian Knights. Also some other random hunches that i have. #1:Planeswalkers will be back, in the form of 5 different "Taysir" planeswalkers, one for each color just as stated in the article. #2: Also im taking a guess that Sha of Naar isle (http://www.cardkingdom.com/card_viewer.php?sid=224585435&pid=122456) will be reprinted just as boldwyr intimidators was in Morningtide.

Thoughts?

Hm...that's an interesting thought.

I don't think that it will take place in the same plane as AN, but I think it's not entirely unreasonable to assume that the storylines will be similar.

I was also thinking that Shards of Alara would have something to do with Arabian Nights when I first heard about it, but apparently it will be something seperate.

Maybe they are revisiting the Middle Eastern Theme as I tend to like it from time to time to spice up the games.
