For this tournament I played Dragon Stompy, after selling off most of my threshold deck, I didn't intend on attending this but after hearing my team was going i couldn't turn it down, I ended up Making Top 8 then Later Ending up in Top 4 splitting it with Jared(Jaynel) Rodney(Roodmistah), Garret Watterson, 2 of which came in my car 1 on My team Rodney, Was a fun day good store nice owners, and nice prizes everyone in top 4 took $125. Well here is my report sorry i don't remember the names wrote them down but don't have the paper anymore.

Round 1: Deck Unknown
Game 1- Im on the play open first two turns with just mountain drops, He opens his turns with island, fetch, my third turn morph gothan raiders, pass, he draws passes turn, i play magus of the moon, he pops fetch for a trop into a counterspell, attack, pass, he plays a fetch pass turn, i drop a blood moon he forgets to pop fetch, it resolves, attack, he drops a goyf on his turn passes, my turn play a arc-slogger pass, he passes i play a rakdos he scoops
Game 2- Hes on the play turn 1 island pass, my turn drop a jitte, land pass, i drop a c.mox morph gothan raiders pass, he plays a land pass, i play a rakdos, attack then pass, he passes his turn, I unmorph gothan raiders, play a seething song use 2 to equip jitte to rakdos, use 3 to play seething song, spirit guide pumping dragon 6 times gaining hellbent swing for lethal.
Wish i saw more of what he played he did a lot of passing only saw one creature and it was a goyf the game he scooped.

Round 2: U/G/W/B Fish- Rob Rogers(HammaFistRoob) my teamate =(
Game 1- He's on the play, I start strong, with a slogger, gets STPd, later get mana flooded and beat by a goyf.
Game 2- Im on the play, open with magus, pass turn, don't remember much but remember swinging with rakdos for game.
Game 3- He's on the play I keep a hand with a City of traitors, ancient tomb 2 kegs, a needle, he opens with a vial, i open with a keg, its countered, pass turn, he plays a goyf, i play keg, it resolves, then attempt to needle vial countered, pass turn, EoT goyf through vial, swings, my turn i make a mistake of not putting a counter on keg, draw into no red sources for the rest of the game, i kill goyf through keg he drops a jotun grunt, i lose

Round 3: Goyf Sligh
Game 1- He's on the play, drops a fanatic, passes turn i open with a morph, pass, morph gets burned turns pass I drop a 3sphere he only has 2 lands, i could of won but being at 2 life he topdecks a land and bolts me
Game 2- I'm on the play open with a chalice for 1, pass, he plays a mountain pass i play a magus of the moon, pass my turn, he passes, i play a 3sphere attack pass, I eventually just beat him down, had him locked pretty well.
Game 3- He's on the play, plays a mountain, pass, I play chalice for 1 again pass, he doesn't draw a land, I play jitte pass, he draws no land passes turn, i play magus pass, still no land for him so he passes, i drop chalice for 2, and swing, once again no land he is forced to pass, my turn i equip and drop a 3sphere and ride that to victory.

Round 4: Goblins
Game 1- He is on the play, Drops a mountain passes, Being aware of his deck I drop a chalice for 1, in response he bolts me, He had 4 turns of only drawing 1 cost spells while i beat him with slogger and sulfur elemental.
Game 2- He is on the play again, mountain fanatic pass, i drop chalice for 1 again, he attacks then passes, i then play a 3sphere and pass, he attacks once more, my turn i morph gothan raiders, pass the turn, he passes, i play rakdos swing with hellbent follwing turn for game.

Round 5: Survival-Jared(Jaynel) We decide to ID into top 8.

Top 8 Ichorid- Andy Maag(Maagler) Fellow Kid from the Cape.
Game 1- He is on the play, Plays Gemstone Mine into Putrid Imp Discarding golgari-cave troll pass, I open with a 3sphere but that game it wasn't enough to stop him get overwhelmed. Not a good start.
Game 2- I am on the play, open with a Magus, he plays gemstone mine passes, I drop a 3sphere he cant get around it move to game 3.
Game 3- He is on the play, we both mulligan, he plays a gemstone mine with chalice for 0, pass turn, he plays another gemstone mine, passes turn, eventually i drop a magus with 2 lands open he chains it to get threshold to use potentially use thresh land on his turn to finally have a way to dredge effectivly i was holding a spirit guide in my hand though so i recast magus. THen i beat him down with a rakdos.
Advance to Top 4 along with Rodney, Garrett, Jared(Jaynel)
We decide to split it 4 ways 125 each, we all wanted to leave since it was still early.
Overall I enjoyed the tournament.
