Tidespout Tyrant and Chalice of the Void

So, I was wondering what would go down in this little scenario.......

-I have a Tidespout Tyrant in play
- my opponent has a chalice of the void for two in play
- I play an exhume and bounce the chalice with the tyrant

Does exhume get countered, or is chalice just returned because I have priotity in all triggered abilities during my turn and exhume resolves?

Does exhume get counteredYes, the trigger or Chalice goes on the stack when you play the spell, and resolves regardless of whether Chalice is in play or not.

Chalice is returned, though.
