When Do you go back to School? (College)

I plan on having a Legacy Event in Aug. or Sept., and I want to get a big turn out. Does anyone know when College students in the East Return to school?

From what I remember late August.

Varies. MIT and some other schools that operate on a funky Trimester schedule wait until late September... but for the most part... Freshmen about 2 weeks prior to September, others 1 week prior. If you schedule something for Labor Day weekend, people are usually free.

I'm looking at Aug. 9Th for a $1000 cash event some where in the Syracuse area. I have a Judge and a Vendor already and I am just looking for a venue. How does this date sound for everyone?

Why not Aug the 30th so people who have to drive a considerable distance can play Legacy on that day and PTQ in Rochester on the Sunday? Just a thought because I have no idea how many Legacy players PTQ regularly or how many wouldn't be able to attend because of school.
