Hi, I'd like to know if there exists a RED answer to BLOOD MOON. I'm capsing these so people don't waste their time saying Krosan Grip and such.
Artifacts can also do. The answer must have CMC of <=3.

Oblivion Stone. All the artifacts which tap for colored mana. That's about it.

If you're already playing red, why would you want/need to get rid of Blood Moon in the first place?

If you mean because you're just playing all non-basics...the answer is to not play all non-basics. Red doesn't have any way of dealing with enchantments directly.
Apocalypse, if you're desperate.

There's also Nev's Disk. And EE, I suppose, although that's harder to pull off.

When Blood Moon comes out, you're stuck playing red regardless of what colors you were running before (assuming all you have are non-basics).
From a SB perspective, this is good info to have.

Manamorphose can be use to play almost any other Blood Moon answer.

If you have both Manamorphase and the answer in your hand. Otherwise, you have a dead card and a Street Wraith.

Culling Scales or Plague Boiler. (You didn't say they had to be GOOD...)

Red's best answer to Blood Moon is to build your deck so that you can play Blood Moon yourself.

And by that he means basic lands. Basic lands are the best answer to Blood Moon.

Nah, just play Goblins.

That would imply you are not playing red ANYWAY.
Your best bet is to not design your red deck so badly that it loses to Blood Moon.

That would imply you are not playing red ANYWAY.I'm working under the impression that red and another colour are being run. Manamorphose could go into Hydorblast, Naturalize, or Disenchant. However, there are certainly better options.
But yeah, better mana bases would help too.

He never said he was running a red deck.
The way I see it, he's probably running a non-basic heavy deck (that doesn't necessarily even run red maindeck) and needs sideboard answers for when Blood Moon comes out.

I've seen a lot of Magi of the Moon get offed by Pyroclasms, happily being played with non-red lands. Fire/Ice works, as well, and can even be run in an entirely non-red (but blue) deck, theoretically.
As for dealing with actual Blood Moons, your options are pretty much limited to artifact mana fixing and Nevy's Disk effects.

If you're willing to float White (or Green), I think Ray of Revelation would be pretty baller. That, or Abolish.

Mox Diamond or Chrome Mox?
If neither of those works then as mentioned above Nevinrryal's Disk has always been the Red and Black answer to enchantments.

The why the hell would he ask for a RED way to deal with it ?

Confusion in the Ranks/Word of Seizing + all sort of sacrifice effects (e.g. Telim-Tor's Edict)
Connecting with Akki Underminer / Resolving Misguided Rage/Crack the Earth enough times.
Warp World and some luck.

Why? Because he doesn't reliably have access to other colors after a blood moon resolves against him. Post moon, he has plenty o' red mana, so a red answer would be pretty sweet eh? Too bad there isn't one. Best he's gonna find is an artifact answer.

Kind of half-jokingly, Jokulhaups messes with Blood Moon decks when you have time to get it off. It resets the board, although it doesn't resolve the Blood Moon directly it allows for an interval to get a real solution in play.

Obviously, the solution is to go one better and play Apocalypse.

If you can get to the point where you can cast it Jokulhaups actually does a very good job of buying you time. I'm not sure you can get there against Dragon Stompy, because of the nature of the threats in the deck, however if you do get a haups off he's not going to be casting his finishers any time soon afterwards.
Apocalypse probably just kills you as fast as their moon was because you're not getting back from zero cards in play and zero cards in hand to win.
Jokulhaups effectively is RR4 for Wrath of God + Armageddon + Shatterstorm. It's hard to cast but as an ass-saver it's kind of unique.
