I have a living death/survival of the fittest deck from awhile ago (I made it during the Tempest block days). The deck tries uses Survival to get creatures that are suited to any situation, and most of the creatures have abilities that are triggered when the creature comes into play. Living death is used to clear the board and swing all your graveyard back for a quick win.
The problem I have is that Hermit druid is banned. This was the best way to fill up your graveyard -- tap that beast once or twice and you have half your deck in the graveyard, then living death and game's over.
Does anyone know any creatures that I can replace Hermit Druid with? Something kinda similar that can fill up my graveyard with creatures and get cards out of my library quickly?
Thanks!

Play Cephalid Breakfast any day over a Living Death deck. In fact, you don't have to spend that many money on it, if it's for a low level, Illusionist + Shuko can be used to keep the list free of duals and monoblue with Back To Basics and such. Not sure if this works, though.
Cephalid Illusionist + Shuko + 3* Narcomoeba + Dread Return + Karmic Guide + Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Sky Hussar= yay!

Cephalid breakfast is this (http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6564) deck. Its a combo deck where you turn your library over into your graveyard and kill your opponent with a giant zombie, or a billion 4/3 flying tokens.

Lemme translate. You get the two creatures, Nomads en-Kor and Cephalid illusionist, then you target your Illusionist with En-kor and mill your library 3 at a time until you get all your pieces in the graveyard/into play. With the version described here, you mill into 1 or more Narcomoeba and put it/them into play. You then sacrifice 3 creatures and Flashback Dread Return targetting Karmic Guide. Karmic Guide pulls out Kiki Jiki, Kiki Jiki copies Karmic Guide, the Karmic Guide copy pulls out Sky Hussar, Sky Hussar untaps Kiki, Kiki copies Sky Hussar, Sky Hussar untaps Kiki, rinse, repeat, and attack for a billion flying.
The other version differs after Dread Return. Instead of grabbing Karmic Guide with Dread Return, you target Sutured Ghoul, he comes into play really big, Dragon's Breath triggers from the grave, and you attack with a large hasty zombie.
That's the closest deck we have to Hermit Druid combo today.
