What happens if I copy a legendary creature?
What happens if 2 shapesharers copy a legendary creature?
Does it copy the colors, the casting cost, the name, the types?
Does it copy the continuous effects such as giant growth?

Copy effects such as Shapesharer only duplicate those properties known
as "copiable values." These don't include type-changing effects -- in
short includes only:

* printed values
* previous copy effects (Mirrorweave targeting a Clone of something)
* effects created by "As ~this~ comes into play" abilities (primal plasma)
* effects created by "As ~this~ is turned face up" abilities which set
characteristics (vesuvan shapeshifter), and
* effects which make something face-down (morph)


1) Both will be put into the graveyard as a SBE.
2) The first one will be destroyed as above. The second's ability will be countered for lack of a target and remain as it previously was.
3) Yes.
4) No.

You are wrong with 2) Cait_Sith

Shapesharer's ability has 2 targets: "target shapeshifter" (itself in that case) and "target creature"

If one of those targets is gone, the ability still resolves. If the target that is gone is the shapeshifter, the ability does nothing, but if the gone target is the other creature, Shapesharer's ability uses last known information in order to determine what the target shapeshifter becomes a copy of.

So in that case you will end up with one Shapesharer and the legend dying to SBE and you will keep the second Shapesharer as a copy of that legend.
