So given that Tarmogoyf is sitting at about 40-50 a piece, I have been looking for alternatives to it in Threshold. I've somewhat torn between two cards. Wearbear and Quirion Dryad both off unique pros and cons, however I'm not sure which one I should end up using. I'm either going to go with a UGw or a straight UG build given the lands I have access to. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, so thank you.

Go with Werebear :) most thresh builds took it out for goyf

I would recommend going with Werebear. Since when Tarmogoyf was printed most people just hot-swapped Werebears for Tarmogoyfs I would say it's safe (although not optimal) to revert back to Werebears.

Werebear's a much better topdeck late than Dryad, but weaker early. While almost all lists swapped Werebear directly out for Goyf, there were some lists that flirted with Dryad. Werebear never gets any bigger than a 4/4, but it is a much stronger topdeck when you find one late.

Dryad does dodge graveyard hate, and it can end up huge if not dealt with quickly. That said, I'd run Werebear.
