Lately, I've been going to a local Saturday-afternoon Legacy tournament, running MUC without much success. I have a couple other decent Legacy decks that I am considering running. Any idea which is best?

Since the event is tomorrow, I might not have time to get the cards. (The store itself or one of the store patrons *may* have something suggested, but I wouldn't count on that...)

Local meta seems to have a lot of Landstill variants and Rock variants.

I'd never play affinity knowing that the field will have a lot of Deeds.

If the landstills aren't playing CB and The Rocks are not playing something to gain life besides of jitte than play burn, otherwise play MUC and punish those filthy dual-landers.

I'd play Flamebreak instead of Seals btw.

Also, your affinity build is not that great IMO. Needs more Springleaf Drums and less Glimmervoids. Also, if I had to play red over Tarmogoyf it would be for Atog+Fling. Atog+Shrapnel = No Good.

Yeah, Affinity is bad on this meta because of Pernicious Deed; I also hear that from the WotC Legacy forum, where I cross-posted this. SO Affinity is out.

Price of Progress can also punish those dual-landers. :)

B2B lockdowns are sweet when they work, but sometimes when I drop it, the duals are untapped/don't need to be tapped, at that point. PoP doesn't care whether they're tapped or not.

REB/Pyroblast will very likely need to be sided in, since I see a lot of blue-based decks; should I maindeck 'em so I have them available in Game 1?

Landstill and such aren't pure couterspell, so I hopefully should be able to throw enough burn ammo at them to overload them.

MUC hasn't been playing well for me, as I said. I don't want to change to Burn solely for the sake of changing, but it may well be necessary.

Red blasts are not the right strategy against Blue Based Control. By siding them you switch your position to a more controlling position and you don't want to. You want all your non-land cards to be threats so they have more things to counter.
I'd board Sulfuric Vortex instead of them, which is an absolute bomb against all type of lifegain from The Rock decks and against Counterbalance from landstill. You also don't need more spells to resolve against Landstill.

Seal seriously sucks. It deals only 2 damage, it can be only cast sorcery-speed and it pumps opposing goyfs. Play MD Flamebreak or Shard Volley or Thunderbolt in its place. Flamebreak +flame rift is probably too much self inflicted dmg, if you feel like it is you can substitute Rift with Thunderbolt or Shard Volley.

I'd also play Smash to Smithereens instead of Shattering Spree cause it fulfills better the deck's theme. It's also better against jitte, due to its instant speed. But this is just some personal preference.

So, in short I'd play your list with those changes:

MD:
-4 Seal
-4 Flame Rift
+4 Flamebreak
+2 Thunderbolt
+2 Shard Volley

SB:
4 Tormod
4 Shattering Spree / Smash to Smithereens
4 Sulfuric Vortex
3 Null Rod (the best tool you hae against storm combo) / Anarchy (if there are pesky permanents like Solitary confinament, Ivory Mask, etc..

Burn will win a shit-ton of Game 1s vs. both Landstill and the Rock, but it succumbs to SB hate almost as bad as Ichorid.

If you can get or borrow Resets, then Solidarity does a number on both Landstill and Rock variants (except maybe those with 12 discard spells and 12 beaters, and even those aren't as bad as CounterTop anything).

Of course, you only have 24 hours to learn how to play the deck...
