The torunament is being held in a store, not a hotel, so the store should have plenty of cards (read as staples) to help you out before the start of the event.
As far as local restaurants...I am not sure...I am not familiar with the area. All I know is that there is a Duchess across the street. It is fast food, but it is top quality and really fresh.
And I would just also like to point out that this thread now has more pages than the Tournament Announcement thread itself. But than again...its not about size, right?!?

I'm going out on a limb to say that Faerie Stompy (or its equivalent) will have a breakout tournament here. I'm expecting a lot of Solidarity and Tendrils, and a lot of Thresh. Faerie Stompy has good game against all these. Also, Jotun Grunt will be in the T8, I guarantee it.
I'll go ahead and say it: Madness will top eight, along with Trix, Flame Vault, and Prosbloom. Truffle Shuffle will be hated out of the tournament.

It's not based just off gencon. Almost every single large legacy top 8 has been about half to a quarter of complete randomness. I'd actually be shocked if there was no randomness.Quote:
