There's a good discussion about this some pages back...

I'm sorry if this has been covered before.
But can anyone give a quick pro and con list for playing...
Tireless Tribe Builds vs. Lion's Eye Diamond Builds.
Are both directions valid depending on your particular meta or is one strictly superior to the other?

Thanks. I don't know how I missed that.
How can you have a lack of targets? At worst you have 2 targets... you and your opponent. When would you need to discard more than 2 cards?
Also if you were to smash more firestorms into the deck and targets were a problem would it be worth it to use Forbidden Orchard? Note that it would also gaurentee a first turn dark blast target... (another uncounterable discard/kinda...)
Running orchard gives your opponents one sure way to kill off Bridges; That's something the deck doesn't really want. Just to make firestorm and darkblast a wee bit better, it's not worth it imo.
What about mirror match??
Which is the best sideboarding in this case??
Ichorid is a built in way to win the mirror match. I'd almost condone Extirpate in the mirror as you have a way via Ichorid to remove their bridges, and without their bridges, all you have to hit are their Ichorids and you are assured victory if you are even a half-way competent player.
Extirpate is also decent in the longer games against control, not to mention loam lists.
Good question. Mirror matches are uncommon today because Ichorids aren't big in numbers anymore. Although leyline is the ideal sb card for the mirror it has lost its flavor in most sbs because in the mirror both decks side-in leylines and chains to answer opposing leylines; this severely thins the combo. imo its better to just side-in chains for opposing leylines, assuming you have a less diluted combo you can win faster than your opponent. Thats my take on it at least. ^^
Have you guys considered Ray of Revelation? It seems like it's time to start maindecking them with all the Lich combo running around.
You are joking Freak. (awkward silence)... Right?
It was a joke because April 31st was Cavius day.
Please carry on :P
Just wondering, how is your match up agaisnt Merfolk ?
How do you deal with the cursecatcher / FoW / Daze / Wasteland and Waketrasher ?
And what to side in / out versus them ?
Is curse catcher your first therapy target ?
Merfolk is a joke, and so is Cursecatcher. They can only activate it when an instant or sorcery is cast. So unless they want to Force of Will their own spell, and sac him, all you have to do is reanimate Ichorids during upkeep, then pass the turn until you get enough tokens to allow you to either alpha strike, or start swinging with Ichorids while having enough tokens to block after losing your Bridges.
