Which part, the Fireblast or the Standstill? I dislike standstill without StifleNaught or a less tempo/more control gameplan. The 2x Fireblast I am currently running I really like.

Prowess build need keep casting spells to buff power.
YP build need keep casting spells to generate tokens.
Each variants of this deck need keep casting spells, to live and to win.
A cards says: "can't casting spells"? I'd rather choose to die.
p.s. If you really thirst for some drawing spell that brings "unsymmetrical advantage"(when ideally), here is some T2 cards:

Sure, we're aware, but I must point out that 3 mana is...a pipe dream in this deck. I play 15 lands. It works. I had to drop TNN from my list because of the inability to make it there reliably. I do have a SCM in its spot, but even then I have had to use it without getting full value. If I could reliably cast it, I would play it. I can't.
Edit: went 2-2 today at a tiny 15 man win-a-box, squeaked into 8th place because of a 1-0-3 record of another player, got 2nd overall. Good for 16 packs.
The list I played:
4 Delver
4 Swiftspear
4 Stormchaser Mage
1 Snapcaster Mage
4 Brainstorm
4 Ponder
3 Probe
1 Pierce
1 Divert
4 Daze
4 Force of Will
4 bolts
2 chain lightning
2 fireblast
1 Price of progress
1 Forked Bolt
1 gut shot
2 Island
2 mountain
3 volcanic
4 Tarn
3 Delta
1 Mire
Sb 15
2 Surgical Extraction
2 REB
2 Flusterstorm
1 price of progress
1 blood moon
2 sulfuric vortex
2 Echoing Truth
1 smash to smithereens
2 rough/tumble
Rd 1 Played a Big Red brew of some sort, won 2-1.
Rd 2 played against Eldrazi shops, lost 2-0. That deck is not a good matchup for this.
Rd 3 played against Nic Fit, losing 2-1. He hit double Thragtusk in both games 2 and 3.
Beat DnT 2-0 Rd 4, although opponent played poorly and was upset with his day. Oh well, I'll take it.
Quarterfinals I beat Omnitell 2-0.
Semifinals I beat infect, good games, 2-1.
Lost to different Eldrazi deck in finals.
That's that.

I played in a small event here, got 2-1 and almost 3-0, losing to a Jund Burn deck.
Even with a nice result, I used the 4 stormchaser/4 swiftspear/4 delver setup but I can't get to like stormchaser in this deck. It's sooooooooo slow and expensive, and a really bad topdeck. Gonna go back to the standard delver/swiftspear/guide/lavamancer/snapcaster setup.
Another 5-0 MTGO League result. Anyone want to claim responsibility for this? :P

Anybody have testing results of Rough // Tumble in Stormchaser-style UR Burn lists? I see just a few results on TCDecks, but this seems like a perfect sideboard card for the deck. As long as Delver is flipped, all the creatures in the deck are immune to it and it becomes a one-sided sweeper, just like in RUG Delver. Thinking it would be really good against tribal decks, maybe even DRS/Pyromancer-style decks too.
I played it and posted my decklist literally a few posts ago. It was fine.

Here's an interesting list that came in 3rd out of 59 players.

4 Nivmagus Elemental....
I think the same arguments apply to Kiln Fiend as well. All in creature, more explosive, easily killed etc. Has anyone tried the elementals? I'm still on Stormchasers and they've been very impressive.
Aaah Nivmagus Elemental....
Brings us back to the time when Return to Ravnica got released... It was a hype back then and as quickly as it came, it went.
More seriously, its only interesting application is with Flusterstorm since you probably won't exile a PoP on the stack to pump your Elemental. For everything else, it is pretty bad: no evasion, got destroyed by both Blue & Red Elemental Blast (along with any other removal you could think of).
My only guess is that it MIGHT be an interesting card IF landed T1 vs a Chalice of the Void (at 1) dropped right after. In this situation, you play your spells and exile them all before they got countered by the Chalice, giving you a feeling of pure might, thanks to your Elemental growing to the size of an Eldrazi...
Apparently, Thing in the Ice was good enough for Eli Kassis to give it a try.

As a one of was barely dipping toes in the water. I think it either needs to be an all in counter burn build and cut the young peezy's or not be played. Flipping thing in the ice with a ton of peezy tokens and a flipped delver is probably the worst feeling ever.
Ding! Dalton Ozmun got Top 4 yesterday with a Stormchaser build. Stoked to see this list as it's 74/75 of my list (I run one fewer fetch and one more basic Island).

This deck is gaining a surprising amount of momentum recently. Is there a reason for that in the meta?
Every now and then I'll crunch the TC decks numbers for the month thus far, just to get an idea of what real time DTB decks look like, and it looks like UR Delver is in DTB for April, currently. Pretty sweet stuff.
Price really evens up a lot of would-be terrible match ups. The problem is miracles but Vortex out of the board helps since you can usually get in a nice chunk at the beginning and then finish off with vortex triggers, I'm still running a grindyer version with YP and TNN but I debate switching back to the prowess burn build every week because of Price.
After a long time trying out both, the Stormchaser and the YP build, i've decided to stay on the Pyromancer route.
I have a question regarding the 1-2 copies of Sulfuric Vortex seen in many sideboards, what MU do they come in?
Greetings
I don't like Vortex against fast combo like Storm, Dredge etc. It could be fine in the main but I'm not sure there's anything that I think is worse than it in the maindeck.
