My first thought as well. Sneak/Breach 9-12 looks welcome in a deck that lacks cantrips.

If you put Emrakul into play with the Boar, wouldn't that skip the Annihilator trigger? Because I'm pretty sure it does since both are attack triggers, except Emrakul is already past that point when she's put into play.
Living Twister is a GSZ-able Seismic Assault (although alot more mana intensive). The body is pretty sturdy to boot. Could this see play in 4C Loam as a GSZ target? I also wonder why they made the tapped land restriction. Even if an untapped land is target of LD, you could always tap it for mana in response and then return it. Maybe I'm missing something like corner cases, but that seems like an unnecessary design hoop you have to jump through.
So the paper gets bent around the shittiness of Arena's interface.
As somebody pointed out on Twitter, the Boar combines rather well with Master of Cruelties for a potential instakill.
Worldspine Wurm is most likely an instant kill too, except it's actually good on it's own off of a Sneak or Through the Breach, whereas Master of Cruelties is crap without Ilharg.
EDIT: Actually, Master of Cruelties is also crap if they can block it...
It's already present for the last few sets. They even changed Ajani's Pridemate.
So far this hasn't been bad, for what I know. But in some regards it could impose limits to what they're willing to do.
I see the importance of streamlining the (digital) gameplay and preventing unintended clicking mistakes.
Let's just hope it doesn't lead to too much dumbing down the game.

All glory to the Hypno Boar God!
Funny, Ilharg acts as replacement for Hazoret in the god cycle in this set. How long does WotC plan ahead again? :) Is the myth of the Raze Boar a newer retcon or has it been part of Gruul since the first Ravnica set?

What's better than one Jace TMS on the battlefield? Two Jace.
I'm not sure why WotC is now interested in printing playable new potential combo enablers, but I can tell you one thing for sure:
I like it.

I can't even recall the last time I considered buying a box of Standard legal cards, but man, I am really contemplating a box of this set. There are some really interesting mythics, rares and a slew of uncommons I'd like to just have.

Helm of the Host does something similar. And, as a practical matter, Sakashima the Imposter doesn't "remove legendary" but does allow you to copy legendary creatures so you could already use that to have two copies of Eladamri, Lord of Leaves or whatever in play. There's also stuff like Necrotic Ooze that copies abilities.
So I'm not sure there are that many avenues for novel exploits.
Looking a 3 CMC Walkers:
This is . . . infinite blinking PW with Aminatou, the Fateshifter. . . not sure what could be the 3rd card in the combo.
. . . um . . . assuming getting this out turn 4, around a 7 turn clock with Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver?
Giddeon's off course, and I sort of think that if Giddeon is a creature this comes into play with a +1/+1 counter and a loyalty counter
Destroy target hand with Liliana of the Veil?
Dovin, Hand of Control?
There's always Griselbrand.
Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas and Tezzeret, the Seeker can jump to ult.
The guy is also kind of fun with the flipwalkers, since it can participate in the flip.
Well that's one way for Black to kill their own Enchantments and Artifacts....

Wellspring ? What a strange idea ! ;)
Back to Neoform for a second - I actually forgot about summoner's pact. What about a deck that runs 4 Neo Form 4 Evolution, 4 Allosaurus Rider and 4 Summoner's pact, to try to get Grisslebrand into play ASAP (and then do the modern tech of Autochthon Wurm + Noursishing Worm, draw your library and win through some combination of SSG into lightning storm). Helps because a lot of the combo pieces are green and can pitch to Allosaurus Rider
Turn 1 - Land + Accel + Summoners Pact/Allosaurus Rider + Green Card + Green Card + Neoform/ or (Accel + Eldritch)
Is tight, but doable with no protection. What about:
10 Lands
4 Allosaurus Rider
4 Elvish Spirit Guide
4 Simian Spirit Guide
4 Autochthon Wurm
4 Chancellor of the Tangle
2 Griselbrand
4 Summoner's Pact
4 Neoform
4 Eldritch Evolution
4 Nourishing Shoal
4 Manamorphose
4 Lotus Petal
4 "Win Cards"
The combo is a 2 card combo but is in effect cheaper than Oops all Spells (2-3 mana instead of 4, and you can run land), but it has no protection and is set to go off turn 1/2. I have not run it and have no clue how consistent it is. Just brainstorming. (really the combo is sort of dependent that you are able to draw into a nourishing shoal in the top 14 cards of your deck. Not sure if that caps the win % of this combo).
That's a fun, harmless one. Reminds me of the old Wood Sage/Scroll Rack engine. I quite like how the -3 works with the +1 as a bonafide card advantage engine and slow search mechanism in one.
Tezzeret for the insta nuke? Play Tezzeret, +1. Next turn, play Copy, ult both, wreck face.
Thalia was the first thing that came to mind until I realized that you're going to pay 4 mana (off-color) when Wingmare exists. Unless you want to go full IRS and run 12 taxers.
Gideon, Ally of Zendikar is pretty interesting with it, though. Copy, emblem, flicker, repeat for as long as you have Flicker effects like Flickerwisps. Would work well in conjunction with Eldrazi Displacer, since you can emblem, then next turn animate, flicker, emblem, repeat each turn.
It's kind of funny just how completely Tamiyo's static ability turns off Liliana of the Veil.
