Blood moon is beatable but it depends on what deck lands it and on what turn.
I generally beat is all the time from Painter, but it's much harder to beat from a deck that's also attacking your life total.
Map -> basics.
Fetch -> basics.
Ulamog it.
Draw island and repeal EOT.
S&T Titan, get basics.
S&T Ulamog/Emrakul off basic Island and attack.
Also, Vesuva can copy a basic under Blood moon and it becomes a basic.
I challenge the Boat naysayers to test my build. Since it is clear that they haven't. TC is never a brick. It becomes castable faster under duress and allows for a highly answer-oriented build:

This is more likely a transitional build over a stable one, since I normally group up fow either main or sb. But the point is there are many iterations of this deck with Boat in it that are incredibly resilient.
This honestly looks meta specific to your area. Not because of the Treasure Cruise (I know it's strength: I took up UR Delver solely because of its addition, and it adds speed and is regularly cast by Turn 3 for :u: because of that decks aggression), but because Bog is in the side, Hydroblast is maxed out, and you're not running a basic Forest. My curiosity is why skimp out on the full Glimmerpost and Primeval Titan? I get that space is getting tight because Wizards is printing more eternal format friendly cards, and I'm curious if Top is worth cutting altogether and if it is forever. The split with Trinket Mage is an idea that I liked.Quote:

I've been testing treasure cruise in Rock's needle-less build and in my very limited experience thus far the reaction is positive. Important to remember I think that 12-post is already very top deck strong. It may be more viable to swap tc out and replace them with 4 krosan grips, blue blasts, or even FOW, as these are immediately pertinent to the current tournament meta. I'd really like to see this deck become more prominent in he SCG events.Quote:

He won dice roll, took a mulligan to 6 and burned me very quick, like Goblin Guide, Eidolon, Chain Lightning, PoP. Similar 2nd game, not able to find S&T + fatty :-/

Fast game 1 win for him, fast game 2 win for me (Round 3 S&T gets countered, Round 4 resolves, Emmy wins), longer game 3 he wins again (Inkmoth Nexus plus pumps). Not a single Moment's Peace in all 3 games:frown:
Round 3:
UR Delver, 2:0
Quite quick matches, even 2 flipped Delvers didn't kill me quick enough, 3 Titan Trigger and I am at ~35 life again^^
Round 4:
UWr Miracles, 2:1
Game 1 I won the normal way, Titan, Emrakul, happy. Game 2 he has turn 3 Blood Moon, turn 4 Meddling Mage naming Repeal, turn 5 Blood Moon, turn 6 Jace, turn 7 Vendillion Clique...beat down. Game 3 I Krosan Grip two Blood Moon, hardcast Emrakul and win.
Round 5:
Storm (ANT), 2:1
Quick game 1 for my opponent. Game 2 he fizzels while Titan is on board and concedes (:laugh:). Game 3 I counter his second and his third Rite of Flames. His last card in hand is Burning Wish, no more counter, so it resolves. Telemin Performance?! Never heard of, read it, felt like 2 seconds cardiac arrest....but I knew (thanks to SDT) next card is Titan, and I have already one in play. So he gets the Titan, no cards left in hand. I call for Emmy, Emmy comes into play, smiles at the battlefield and opponent concedes at once:cool:
Moment's Peace almost never showed up today, Candelabra didn't do anything, not in a single game. I guess I will think about the candelabra for a long time now...Karn in SB feels really good against UWr Miracles, he'll stay in SB. I will try to improve Burn MU, but not sure how...
And of course I will give Rock Lee's list a chance as well, I like challenges^^
This is the most-blue list I've ever run with the deck. Probably the most extreme I would go towards treasure cruise.
I've been loving spellskite recently, and it might belong in the side, but I side it in constantly so we'll see.

I can not see Treasure Cruise in here. Why bother with blue mana and the graveyard if you already have Kozilek available which cost only 2 generic mana more for an even bigger impact?

Hey Rock, can you describe a bit how the new build plays? I haven't had time to put it together but I'll probably sleeve it up for Tuesday when I get to play next. Looking at the list I almost feel like it plays off as a little more combo-y, but again, I admit I haven't been able to run it yet.

Really the only deck in the format that can give this deck a run for its money is u/r SCG list, which uses a similar concept but with no long term plan. Thus the plan against that deck is to equal them on early speed, which is very possible.
I don't know about the rest of the meta as I haven't test it yet but the matchup against the UR Delver deck with Treasure Cruise is, to my own surprise, very winnable. I am using a list very similar to yours: -1 Top, -1 Map, -1 Fetch, -1 Trinket, +1 S&T, +1 Crop, +1 Forest, +1 Repeal. I am impressed with this new version!Quote:
