Re: [GP Madrid] Coverage and Updates
Just back home from Madrid. I went 4-2-1, which is pretty miserable considering i started with 3 byes. However, i thoroughly enjoyed playing a new deck (Lands!).
Sadly, i missed out all day two action as my friends in Madrid took me out for an extremely long and interesting walk around the city on Sunday morning, which left me exhausted and had to collapse after lunchtime, and only woke up when it was time to go to the pub to see the Atletico de Madrid match.
Great experience though. I can only wish Columbus turns out as successful as this GP.

Müller had blue card, so that he could have picked up Force of Will and Reanimate Iona that very turn instead of playing Toughtseize. When he saw his opponent's hand, he realised his opponent could cast Ad Nauseam off LED mana on his turn. However, it was funny how he had a chance, as he had Daze in hand and his opponent had only 6 mana (Land, Land, LED, Petal), as he needed to top and play Nauseam.
Me and my friends were sitting/standing behind Müller and that's exactly how we thought about it. He also screwed up when he allowed the Czech to resolve an eot Ad Nausseam b/c he didn't know Cabal Ritual was an in fact an instant.

Hey, I was behind him too, a pity we didn't meet. ;-)

You were the guy that handed the iPhone over to the other guy? I was the guy standing with the white Nike-Shirt.

I was the guy in a jacket next to him, talking with him all the time.
Re: GP Madrid 2010! 27-28 Feb
I finished 59th, best tie-breakers of all with 36 points (12-5). I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't go better, I lost some really tight games (why does everyone play Goblins???) but all in all it was a pretty ok result.

Probably you couldn't find me because I finished all my matches in the first 8 minutes of the clock and the rest of the time I was just there looking at other people playing. I was wearing black and green clothes to show my deck colors, and I think I might have seen you playing Imperial Painter on the green tables. I've just posted my decklist on the False Cure stompy thread and the other person I knew was going to bring it to the tournament just did the same. I was really happy with my list, and if I were given a chance to make changes to it, I would leave it untouched.
