Now, if you play in such a way where Murmurs from Beyond is your last card and you're banking on it drawing you gas, that's just not very smart, mostly because that's not what the card's for.
I don't know which one is more important in this deck, CA or CQ, but since Impulse is already a 4-of wouldn't Forbidden Alchemy be at least discussion-worthy as an addition, since it does something similar (higher CMC, but fuels Snapcaster pretty hard). It lets you dig for the 4th land and is pretty useful mid-combo, to keep going and find the right card. The thread search didn't show any results and I'd like to know if the card is so easily dismissable in favor of Murmurs and even Thirst for Knowledge, as the first one provides CA and the latter lets you actually draw more than one card.
