I really like that the new Angel. I'm most likely going to play that thing instead of the singleton Chain of Vapor MD. If it doesn't work out, it still seems like a great SB card. Her synergy with Therapy is pretty wicked, too.

There's something to say about the Angel, that's for sure. But it looks like there's a trend that's turning Ichorid into a reanimator deck more and more. While it's often a strong play, I wonder if it's the right strategy?
Welp, if it can perform that strategy aside from its main combo orientation, then it can be another tool in the toolbox for games 2 and 3.
All in all I think ZEN will provide more options than replacements to this build. Ichorid deck aside, ZEN is going to be a money set.
Having a back-up strategy that also loses to the hate against your primary strategy seems pretty bad.
Is that really bad version of City of Brass useful for lowering your life total for Vampire haste?
Bleh, bad spoiler, that actually makes that card a hell of a lot better tho'. Just 4 Undiscovered Paradise, 1 Dakmor Salvage and 1 Eternal Witness is probably enough for an Ichorid + Vampire alpha strike. I wonder if you could axe Narcomoeba in a LEDless build for it?
No.
Nacromoeba is the reason this deck can function the way it does.
I agree. I have had many a time playing this deck where I absolutely NEED to hit a narcomoeba to survive till next turn. And it really weakens the combo component of the deck, because it is then impossible to win turn 1. And as for cutting ichorid for it, I am strongly against that since ichorid doesn't need anything else to be good. It is also the best card in the deck because it conveniently sacks itself every turn netting you zombie tokens. And the vampire absolutely requires for you to play that dakmor salvage dredge card which I think is terrible due to it coming into play tapped and only tapping for B.
On a sidenote, extended "Dredge" lists rely on Narc only. It really speeds you up like hell.
And extended dredge lists ran 3-4 ichorids when they could, which is to say, before they rotated out.
What kind of Metagame is the two Hypno / 1 Hyp & 1 Eternal build favourable? At first I was thinking Control but it seems really strong against most types of decks, assuming you can reanimate before Turn 3..

When Sphinx of Lost Truths enters the battlefield, draw three cards. Then if it wasn't kicked, discard three cards.

What are peoples thoughts on Sphinx vs Sage?
Imho completely different function from Witness. It's a better Sage, yes, but I won't be replacing Witness with it.

EDIT (Five minutes later)
Didn't realize this could only target the opponent. That sucked. Looked like something finally new and fresh to try.
Hi!
This is my first post. I'm from germany.
I've played LED-Ichorid for a while with the list from Parcher's Primer. I did well most of the time, but there is one player who's playing MONO W Armageddon stax. He plays 3-4 Magus of the Tabernacle, 3-4 ghostly prison, 3-4 chalice of the void and 3-4 trinisphere in his maindeck +3-4 orb of dreams in his sideboard.
Now my question: How can I fight this deck with that my list? I've only won, if i was on the play and had two discarder first turn, or he was holding the wrong lock-pieces. And then, if he topdecked ghostly prison, i couldn't win anymore, because of wasteland, smokestack or armageddon.
Is there any way to beat this deck before and after sideboarding?
