I mean; I dont play a stormbased kill. I only play the Warcaller to drain my mana into, then I untap my creatures that dont have summoning sickness and I attack with those for lethal ;) Anyway, I start testing tomorrow.Quote:

Seems pretty insane to me! Maybe it can function as a replacement for Pact/Worldly Tutor? It seems to me like it is pretty insane when you combine it with symbiote, return a tapped elf to your hand, untap her then discard the returned card and tutor for something hot :D!
Not sure if its as good in Combo elves as in Aggro elves, but I think it is worth a try, it seems really good. Thoughts?
I'm pretty sure the deck shouldn't be relying on Elves that tap for mana, nor should it be using this.
Yea, second thought: It doesnt really fit in combo elves. We have visionary, which in this deck is better. And if you want to get the full potential out of this card you need to run better stuff that you can tutor for, like elvish champion, imperious perfect & sylvan messenger.Quote:

I think Worldly Tutor is terrible. It's good in three circumstances:
*) On turn 1 setting up turn 2, and you need to play a mana elf there instead.
*) When you have Glimpse going (who cares)
*) In response to a Visionary trigger. At which point there are a million creatures that are just better.
I think making the deck more conditional seems like a bad plan. If you want Worldly Tutor, Chord of Calling is probably just better.
What are your thoughts on Terastadon? We can Pact it and it kills Moat and all the other nasty stuff. Imo it`s not good enough, but perhaps we could try it in our Kill condition slot.
I am actually running it in my sb over my single viridian shaman, since I can NO for it very easily, its pretty good. It has worked fine for me so far.Quote:

Explosives is the single real target right now.
Artefact Mana will perhaps be an issue in some months...
I was talking about Null rod ;) Helps vs alot actually. Mainly EE, but also against Mox diamond, Chrome mox, LED, Aether Vial, Equipments, Sensei's top.Quote:

So, more or less a green Chant? I could see it. Then again, we aren't playing Defense Grids, Cities of Solitudes or similar nonsense; I find it more efficient to just play enough engines to wear permission out and win, or beat with the guys who snuck through. The green leyline is definetly good enough. It has always been good for me. The only time is when I draw it off the top, and then can't cast it. But even when I do have to cast it, and it doesn't start in play, it is permanent until removed, which makes it almost a must counter against blue decks.
Leyline has done good for me. We need a way to not get blown up by mass removal.
Caller of the Claw is a very nice choice. I have been rocking Fecundity, and it has been awesome. The thing I like about Fecudity over Caller is that if they have a second mass removal spell, then Caller sucks. If I have Fecundity in play, I draw a bunch of cards...which in terms helps me combo out.
I do like the idea of Caller though.
