I have a tourney in like 5 hours and I would appreciate some last minute criticism for my list. It's obviously geared toward combo, but I've got substantial creature removal as well. Not going to bother posting the lands because they're pretty stock.
I'm mostly concerned with having my SB balanced with my main because of the Slaughter Games. I can bring them out against fair decks and bring in 2 Deluge. I also cut 1 Golgari Charm because of the Deluges (mostly use the charms for -1/-1 anyway). I also upped the Surgicals to 3 because they are a real powerhouse against a T1 Storm win. Sure bro, your spells have flashback, but I would like for your Rituals to go away. Whoops! They also give me more of a chance against Dredge, a deck I'm not at all comfortable with. I can also add more permanent destruction to get rid of stupid Meddling Mage or RIP. RIP really fucks my day up.
I'm feeling pretty good about my SB; does anyone think it looks a bit spread thin?

from post to post i think we try to build nic fit better and better but it going to be near like Jund...punishing, lilianas, mass of discard...
Only I feel that Nic Fit is an deck which takes adv from sacrifice? Intent, Cabal Therapy, Recuring Nightmare?
My today test say:D....1x Deathrite Shaman (GSZ) is ok and useful.
its Much better when we play 2 liliana 2 thoughtseize 4 cabal therapy
im still thinking to play 1 recuring nightmare and 1 diabolic Intent.
Anyone play Nightmare too?

Chains of Mephistopheles is a straight trap. I don't have time for one of my usual book-length dreadnoughts on why -- but if you search the thread I'm sure you'll find it, since it's been brought up before. Some of the old-timers in here might be able to give you a quick conceptualization for why Chains is a bad card.Quote:

If you want to buy time at instant speed, use abrupt decay.
If you want to be able to kill anything, use pulse.

3-0 atm at the 40 duals 40 fetches event. Beat death and taxes, then alex bertoncini on the stream, then bugstill. 5 more rounds yet....need to win 3 more to draw in.

Scry is definitely nice allows some nice Nightmare interactions (Pod + Reaper scrys then tutors), I also like how well it works with Therapy

the reason or no pod it is more about the soul bound and a good portion of my deck. the pod doesnt flow with how it plays as much
Deadeye Navigator seems sweet, only card I dislike is Chameleon Colossus I think I would just have Thrun in that slot.
As far as 6 drops goes would Prime Speaker fit with the Deadeye? Not sure what to cut for it possibly Sphinx.
I have not delved much into a non-pod BUG variant seems like there is a lot of room for exploration
