More like, "Christmas is overhyped - I'll see y'all next year in Jerusalem."

Best of luck to the Canada/Glens falls crew.
I'll have Goobafish sending me updates, I hope, so I'll try to write some stuff up.
Good luck to all the Sourcers too.
Re: [Announcement] March 7-8: Grand Prix Chicago 2009
Any chance anyone in the know is reading this? I just discovered disparity between Pastimes' Registration/Starting times and Wizards, and I'm not sure which is correct. Please respond ASAP!!
Re: [Announcement] March 7-8: Grand Prix Chicago 2009
Player's meeting starts at 10, so get there around 9-9:30.
GPTs were largely dominated by Sourcers and other big names. The field was around 60% blue, lots of tempo based decks and Landstill.
Re: [Announcement] March 7-8: Grand Prix Chicago 2009
im really surprised by the amount of dredge in the trials and the lack of goblins..... also, there were 700 people registered by about 7 o'clock
Re: [Announcement] March 7-8: Grand Prix Chicago 2009
Looking to be huge, a Judge told me around 800 registered tonight. They ran 16 grinders the day before.
Re: [Announcement] March 7-8: Grand Prix Chicago 2009
So what's the biggest GP ever?
Re: [Announcement] March 7-8: Grand Prix Chicago 2009
According to Wikipedia, GP Paris had 1,838 people.
Re: [Announcement] March 7-8: Grand Prix Chicago 2009

Any link??
Re: [Announcement] March 7-8: Grand Prix Chicago 2009
There you go.
Will take a while to kick in. The coverage that is.
Re: [Announcement] March 7-8: Grand Prix Chicago 2009
Can I look forward to a live feed like there was for Worlds? 'Cause that was simultaniously excellent and terrible.
Re: [Announcement] March 7-8: Grand Prix Chicago 2009
The convention center doesn't have free internet access. Fail.
Re: [Announcement] March 7-8: Grand Prix Chicago 2009
How about some Twittering? I know it can be done via text messages, although I have no idea how much it costs.
