I guess the most expensive cards I own are Candelabra of tawnos, had to get them to play the proper version of spiral tide. I have a modern, almost mono white splashing red control deck I'm considering foiling out, but the sacred foundry and arid mesa foil are gonna be a pain!
My guess is that it is a Korean 5th edition set. I have been working on one for a long time and I am nowhere close to finishing it.
I'm divided on this; on the one hand, Cursed Scroll has always been one of my favorite cards and the art lends itself extremely well to the new style of foiling, but on the other hand I'm not thrilled with a lot of the foil updates to old cards like the Player Rewards Wastelands or the judge Dreadnoughts.Quote:

So maybe someone can help me out here, because I'm quite stumped. I recently got a miscut High Tide and part of the bottom border is white. It wasn't painted or anything like that, and is naturally part of the card. The card itself is still the same size and such as any other card, not like it's extra cardboard or something. The top border of the backside of the card is exactly the same size as the white part of the front bottom border. I haven't ever seen a miscut of a Fallen Empires card that has a border color issue, and as I know a red card is beneath High Tide on the sheet. Is this kind of thing common? Or could someone explain exactly what happened here?
This particular High Tide is on the bottom of the sheet - there is no "other" card to bleed into, just blank card stock.
I see a black band on the backside, but not on the front. That means the centering was off from back to front, and explains why you don't see the white stripe on the back side.

Props - Apoc Deeds are such a nice looking foil imo. Get some Nic Fit/BUG control going to show em off.
I had a copy of a foil Pikula signed Meddling Mage a few years back, definitely a neat item even if the card's power level is sort of 'meh'. It would be a neat collection to work on signed invitational cards. It's what? Avalanche Riders (Kastle), Rootwater Thief (Long), Meddling Mage (Pikula), Shadowmage Infiltrator (Finkle), Voidmage Prodigy (Budde), Sylvan Safekeeper (Rade), Solemn Simulacrum (Thorén), Dark Confidant (Maher), Rakdos Augermage (Soh), Ranger of Eos (Ruel), and Snapcaster Mage (Chan)? Some obviously more busted than others, but neat theme/concept I guess either way.
That would actually be great. Not least because pro Magic players tend to be cool guys, in my experience, so meeting the guys would be just as awesome as coming away with the autograph.Quote:
