Showing Titan is very appealing, but I feel like it's not the best place to be in the current meta. You don't want to be casting Show and Tell to put Primeval Titan into play, only to see your opponent put Omniscience in. Of course, you can probably read the Omni player's deck in the first 2 turns and just hold your Show and Tell instead, but then your acceleration is a dead card. I know people normally consider accelerating cards to be dead draws late game, but with Explore it cantrips, and in the late game being able to play 2 lands can mean gaining enough life with Glimmerpost to survive and win. I agree that it's much much stronger in the early game, but one of the reasons I like the card so much is that it doesn't feel like a dead draw late.

Either way I have to build UG and see how it plays. At the moment I'm very impressed with how GW performs though.

Sylvan Primordial might be a good fit as a 1 of in place of a Primeval Titan, I like the idea of blowing up a permanent and it could be an option in a deck with natural order. It probably though would require a very specific sequence of events before it became practical (omni).

The Gazinga deck stands out because of its sideboard design although I'm not sure what comes out when.

Tidespout might work out in the B/G stifle deck I was in favor of a few months ago, which also plays 3x snt and 18 instants.

But also khalni could be good.

I have been toying with what to put instead of the 2 extra cavern of souls. 2nd forest and 1 plains could be it. Also forest and garden.

I honestly threw the sideboard together mostly thinking of burn, wasteland decks, weenie strategies, elves and yard based decks. I competely neglected omnitell as it was only starting to really show at the time.

In response to Khali garden, only issue I have is that it can't be fetched by a fetchland, although wasteland hits both khalni leaving behind a creature is nice for natural order.

What the heck happened to everyone playing this deck? I was looking forward to hearing how the experimentation with Standstill worked out for people who played the deck at SCG Worcester. Does Rock Lee still play this or is he taking a break?

I'm trying to finalize my list for upcoming events and have been having pretty decent results with Standstill and the like myself, so I was really hoping to read some match breakdowns from other peoples' testing.

Ok, looks similar to Rock Lee's list. How is Tidespout Tyrant in the fair MUs? In total there are 9 fatties you don't want in your opening 7, including Ugin. I play 1 Glen Elendra Archmage main right now, she's ok ;-) But I will try to keep the main deck mostly the way it's used to be and build a sideboard dedicated to the combo MU (not only Omnitell)... Maybe a little white splash again, like this:

I've played 4x in my SB for about a year now in my monogreen build. It's singlehandedly changed my Storm matchup from nearly unwinnable to about 40%, while also being extremely useful against Elves, Dredge, OmniTell, and Pyromancer decks.

I can't speak to the UG builds, but some of the major selling points for me were:
- CMC of 2 means that I can consistently drop it on T2 off a double Cloudpost start (why I gave up on Trinisphere)
- Being colorless means I can find it off Ancient Stirrings
- Multiples stack, which can be backbreaking

Short question about a playful idea: has anyone tried Wasteland as a one-off? 😄 There were a few games in the past where it would've been really nice to have one in the deck. Not as a landdrop, but more like a crop target... Right now it could be interesting because of Boseiju

You and me both. I had the luxury of playing against Omnitell this week. Both games I died when Kozilek was in play but unable to turn him sideways. I have the board in +12 cards plan and it still wasn't enough. I'm about ready to shelve my favorite legacy deck because of it. :cry:

No need to worry too much ;-) I guess the meta will adapt soon so Omnitell will have a hard time and will be less played...

I used to play several in a very early version of my build, about three years ago. It had its moments, particularly when I had Crucible and Exploration out. But even that was really too cute. I'm definitely not a fan of it as a Crop Rotation target, as it effectively puts you down two lands. I personally can't think of a (non-Pithable) land I need to kill badly enough to justify that kind of cost.

I went 2-7 at scg worcester. By far my worst scg by a huge huge margin. I played against 6 omni decks, 1 storm deck. Every single one 2-0'd me. Never saw a tyrant, venser, sideboard counter.

Taking a break from the deck I love for a few weeks to play miracles locally. Sofar undefeated, but I am mentally defeated.

In the meantime I am still brewing new takes on omni hate with the deck, with more mud-orientations of 12post. The U/G control shell is extremely vulnerable to storm/omni though and right now those decks are out in force.

Sad to hear :-/ but absolutely understandable. Got crushed several times in the last few weeks by Omnitell as well, despite dedicated sideboard. Will play Miracles as well on a huge event in 2 weeks since there will be a lot of combo decks around... But as I already wrote: the deck isn't dead! Meta will adept and Omnitell will have less showings, and this will be the time for Turbo Eldrazi to shine again :-))) For local and weekly events I still play around with Sphere of Resistance, Glen Elendra etc...

Maybe some kind of build with maindeck Spheres/Thorns?

I remember people doing well in the past with Spell Pierce main. Maybe just flat-out play 4 of those?

Sad to hear it, its not your fault so much as the format is completely busted and imo near dead anyway. Started playing omnitell out of sheer 12-post frustration and its so stupid easy to play its not much of a game now. There's nothing like dropping a t2 omniscience into Emrakul to make people wonder why bother shuffling and drawing 7 cards. Bug delver is a similar story.

Very interested in the G/W build of the deck. Had G/W Post built previously but very different. I like where you guys have taken it. Couple of questions primarily related to SB strategies. First, has anyone tried terminus for heavy creature match-ups? Seems okay given we are playing tops and fetches and should be able to track them down. Also, I don't really see anything in the main for creature MUs. Are you just hoping to race them? Any reason not to play 1-2 Oblivion stones main?
Also, against combo MUs like ANT and OmniShow, has anyone tried Gaddock Teeg? Seems decent so as to stop all of the business spells out of ANT and stops digs and firemind out of Omni. Also decent against elves so they can't play green sun or N.O.
Anyway, looking forward to getting some more playtime with the deck. There's something special about landing an Ugin.

Yes, Rock Lee played a UGW build when Dromoka was released. This included Terminus as well. I liked Terminus very much in the deck! Maybe I will try it again... Have been thinking about good Sideboard cards against Omnitell, and because of Boseiju people can't rely on counter magic. So my choice will be Meddling Mage! Since this requires white mana, Terminus would be a nice main deck option again. And as you said, Gaddock would be great choice as well

Against creature based strategies as in combo elves or DnT/delver etc?

Against elves maze, Terastodon, and some number of other things come out for Chasm, tabernacle ostone and natural order.

Against DnT I take out oracles, Terastodon and Dryad Arbor for 2 Sacred ground, needle and tabernacle. DNT in my experience is a great match up for this deck. I've dropped 1 game out of 7 against it and play testing the other side against someone I handed the deck to, I won 1 out of 4 games. If you shut down wasteland there is so much ramp that a win is pretty much inevitable for GW post.
