For draft and because they are staples of white decks. I want to see good Legacy cards ending up in the hands of new players. My local shop doesn't run Legacy due to player disinterest. Hoping EM changes that.

Balance might fit the bill for the white mythic. Looking at Vintage Master mythics that aren't on the RL, they put Armageddon in the second white mythic slot. Maybe the much rarer Ravages of War as second mythic?
Mana Crypt looks like another good value card. Set is pretty exciting so far.
I don't think Ravages will be mythic cause it was just a Judge promo. Cataclysm might be the "wreck all shit" white mythic because A) it sees play Legacy, though just as a sideboard card and B) it's cheap, which will lower the EV of the product despite there already being a lot of value in the set.

So the logic is that since white is pretty much shit anyway so just jam the low value crap in the white slots :D

Given how the print run of EMA is very limited (and they don't even have GPs for it) - how exactly are they going to measure the "success" of a set that has pretty much a determined amount of sales due to shop preorders at fixed rates & numbers? :eyebrow:

Perhaps by looking at how many Legacy events get Sanctioned, in combination with play data from Leagues and Dailys on MTGO?
I would guess that is the only real aim here, get people to play more Legacy/Vintage while still engaging the EDH crowd?

A combination of sellout-speed, Sanctioned events, and League expansion.

Also would be in favor of printing foil dual lands at 1 per 8 boxes of standard product.

Any candidate of "face of Modern Masters 3", is highly probaly not included in this set. EMA would sell well, and Wotc also want MM3 sell better. So, I cannot imagine to see Liliana or Goyf in EMA.

Or Goblin Guide, as they need more red Mythics. But reprints are reprints nonetheless.

At least it looks better than the old art. I am looking forward to replacing my old Dazes with the new version. The *only* thing that I prefer is the older frame, but I am so sick of the old art that I'm willing to make the swap.

Red always gets the shit end of the stick, doesn't it?
Also, Vampiric Tutor confirmed as Mythic. Looks like we get the full cycle.
Diminishing Returns is also returning.

Re: Confirmed: Eternal Masters - June 10, 2016
the trend with the new art choices seems to be a coin flip between "huh, not bad" and "ew".
not that Diminishing Returns has a great painting, but this new one is right out of the LEGO movie as far as I'm concerned. ET is poor, Vamp is interesting but not really iconic…
at least the Chrome Mox is nice and the Gamble acceptable. I also has a soft spot for that Maze of Ith (though its not exactly "new" art)
