Time for me to change my pants

Was just about to post it, but too slow. I literally can't wait for this GP. I am sure SCG will do a great job, heard nothing but good stuff from the last GPs, organised by SCG. This playmat is epic!
Greetings
Assuming it is like the modern GP, it is simply entry. I think even when they ran out of supplies they were sending mats to people. People may hate SCG for their business practices, but damn if they aren't awesome to customers .
Better than some anime schmag I guess. I prefer the Rush Brainstorm ... or just cut to the chase and

I need to be there. For the love of Brainstorm.
I was at GP Richmond and it was, organization wise, the best GP I've seen.
When they capped their playmat at 2999, 3000 and up where shipped their playmat and token at SCG cost at their residence.
That was pretty sweet.
I know there's about 10+ of us from Atlantic Canada coming
Well ladies and gentlemen, here's the full details about GP: New Jersey later this year! Brainstorm Playmat, SLEEVES *AND* Deckbox for all participants, John Avon's first appearance in years, and much much more! http://www.magicgp.com/GPNewJersey/index.html
Great artist alley, nice job SCG.
Even if I can't go, I hope things go well (and from the sounds of it, SCG is laying the groundwork for that) so they can get GP Seattle next year too.
Between the artist list, the swag, and being run by SCG, I'm starting to tilt towards the GP side of the "do i go to GPNJ or Eternal Weekend" internal argument
Hotel booked and pre-registered, coming out of retirement for the playmat (and the artists...)
Ill be there. Just too awesome to miss.
I live about 30 minutes away... never played in a Legacy event, but I'm going just to check out the scene and have some fun.
Hey, New York guys, I have a question. The weekend after the GP is my birthday, so I was giving thought to just kinda taking the week off and living it up. I've looked at enough maps and Googled around enough to know that I can get from the venue to the city (or vice versa), but I'm wondering how much of a pain in the ass it is. Whether it's easier on paper and whether I should book another night to depart Monday morning and whether this that or the other thing.
tldr: How to venue->NYC for dummies.
Getting ready for #GPNJ? Check out some of the Legacy decklists played in this past weekend's #SCGINVI! http://scg.im/leg_decks :)

I'll be there too, coming all the way from big Denmark to visit little US of A ;D
The NJ Transit station in Edison goes straight into Penn Station in the city. Looking on the map, there is the station in Metuchen that's technically a closer drive from the convention center. Trains run pretty late too so you can make the most of your time. No easier way beyond having someone just drive you into the city. PM me for contact info if people are looking for rides to the trains station as I live right there.
Cedric Phillips had a post saying they were prepared for 6000.
That is WAY different than saying they expect 6000.
I will be there judging!! I am under the impression the 6k is a preety firm guess as wea re staffed for the event like crazy.
what about sidevents?
Welp, got my tickets booked yesterday. See all you sourcers there!
Is it true there are going to be sanctioned vintage side events? I over heard this at an event recently.
Got the time off, pricing plane tix, will be there.
Also, if anyone local-ish can recommend a sports bar, my boys and I will probably want to watch the Velasquez/Werdum UFC fight.
Vacations booked, booking the hotel today.
Looking forward to that GP!
Picked up a couple byes at small GPT this weekend
Congrats on the Byes!!
I think we should have a Sourcer meet up.
I just got my tickets booked for the flight out there. Now to figure out the hotel thing... Do I book last moment with my slacker judge buddies or do I book earlier and not stress but risk a bad roomate(s)... That is the question.
