Re: [CaNGD - Finalist] Not Quite Survival
I really like your list, REALLY. I would like to add the fourth bob, but I don't know what to cut. And seeing as he's is searchable in a multitude of ways, the fourth might not be needed. It seems like the infiltrator does alot with helping out the deck. Especially because he detracts nothing from the deck. Ponder added card quality, as does the infiltrator, just at one more mana. I also don't know about genesis simply because of the amount of mana this deck plays. It does not have the same amount of mana avaliable as a normal survival deck would. It certainly warrants testing, but so far I haven't wanted him in any of my NQS builds.

Holy sweet necro Batman!
I'll be honest, the deck looks interesting, but it doesn't seem to run enough to make Survival worth running.

Yeah... I think I struck gold with the infiltrator idea... I honestly think it will change the format considerably once people actually see how good it is...
Think of it as a 3cc demonic tutor that can only get countered by stifle effects...

Well... you pretty much use it to get an extreme boost over the opponent quickly... It isn't really a survival deck, as it plays more like a slow threshold deck that also has access to a lot of powerful spells and effects.

Hers my take on this deck. I started playing it last week so I dont have a lot of matchup data, but it won vs. UG Fish, NO Countertop, and Reanimator. So far I really like it though.
Whats different: Im running the Wasteland/Stifle package to play as tempo thresh. The LD is wrecking my local combo meta, so thats a plus. Then, instead of the Countertop, Im running Aethervial as the Survival complement. So far its doing ok, becuase m playing it as a tempo deck, I can pay green, and tap to put whateevr i need directly into play. Im concernind about Zoo, as I think i will need Deed (Ow) or some other mass removal to overcome their speed. Im running the Spellstutters too, though I plan to retest with Mongoose this Wednesday.
