I like Coffin Purge. Purge is nice because you can cast it twice, and not only does it stop the combo, but it does it as a suprise. Also if you get therapied, you can flash it back.
Chants look good at stalling for a turn. It still cant solve the problem. Planar Void looks good too, of course if you really do need Ill-Gotten Gains for this match-up. Tormod's Crypt? Darkblast? Pyrokinesis?Quote:

I kinda like STP, as it can work against other decks as well, since it's not specific at all.
I think coffin purge is just way better, and they dont gain the life. Purge is also good against Iggy-Pop When they go for the gains, you can easily remove their tutor or key card, stopping their combo and forcing them to waste cards. If replenish gets any good, it is also really good against them. The fact that you can play it even after being duressed is a huge bonus.

If they don't have a man-plan, you win, and they don't run enough counters to win with said main plan anyway.
