I doubt this is an original idea, but regardless:

Here you keep the same color limitations, aspects of card disadvantage to punish the turn zero force, allow it to be as useful in stopping combo and other quick strategies (if they must maintain this arbitrary 4 turn limit), and have a natural curve of usefulness that declines once the game get mid to late so it's not game warping.
Thoughts?

I see two issues with this. First, Wizards has said that, by modern printing rules, Mana Leak is too powerful to see print. This would just blow that out of the water. The other issue is the impact it would have on Legacy where control decks could then have Force number 5 and 6 in their decks. I will say anyone running a full set of 8 Force cards either really hates having a hand or really hates combo.

Depends - it also taxes their Wastelands and Fetchlands.

Tempo players can adjust their plays to that creature. Try to beat that creature on the draw with 2 fetches in your hand or Fetch + Dual if your opponent holds stifle/wasteland

You may be right - but that is a very particular situation... Anyway when i thought about it's casting cost i made it white with stax in mind (even castable under chalice with cavern). Then i add green to make it zenitable (for maverick).
The walker... (and i don't have anything against blue cards) i thought it could be nice in some type of dragon stompy/ painter variant. With painter out it can also tax blue spells. Then added some utility. :smile:

Yeah... maybe busted but very very nice. One more mana or make it cost: :w::g::g:
The lands could bring back some cool cards like spiritmonger, anurib b, Juzam Djinn, etc. The same concept could be used to other creatures like Demons, Dragons and Angels.

Red should also have a GOOD dragon - thundermaw and stormbreath are cool but we need something faster:

Double red mostly so blue cannot abuse it. Typed off something Red already does (e.g. Wild Ricochet)

Beggar's Cardboard may be cast or played at any time.
If this card would be revealed, or change zones and be revealed, its owner names a card that costs $20 USD or more. Beggar's Cardboard gains a boxwine counter named X where X is the number of times a card has gained a boxwine counter this game, and becomes that card until that boxwine counter is removed. That counter can't be removed from this card until the game is over and remains on the card in all zones. (This effect occurs prior to placing the spell on the stack if it's being cast or played, so the spell can't be cast or played if the named spell couldn't be cast or played. Naming a card which causes your deck to become illegal in the format it's being played in may cause a game loss.)
When the game is over, remove all boxwine counters from all cards in all zones.
