He still wins both. It's just less easy a race then.

At some point, he'll have to attack with Inkmoth using a colored mana and leave Factory to threaten to block (with another colored mana). That lets him steal 1-2 attacks while you can't attack back, then he wins the race.

You eventually have to use one of the blue mana to pay for Tabernacle.

If I pay for tabernacle and the initial arbiter cast using sea gate, his opportunity to use mana short has already passed...

But FTW is right that he can use coloured mana a few times to get ahead in the race.

I was expecting this to be the simplest round to figure out scores. :tongue:

EDIT: I also forgot to follow up on possible bannings, like Assassin’s Trophy and for next round Ensnaring bridge, which seems rather stupid. Hmm..

The next round starts and ends soon. Can we confirm bannings?
Assassin's Trophy and those other discard spells added to banlist?

Are Ensnaring Bridge and Meekstone banned just for the Supersize round? Both seem dumb.
Otherwise the format will be Bridge vs noncreature wincon vs control vs 0-6.dec

Good point. GoblinSmashmaster must have been waiting all season for this round.

FoN or any other disruption does stop it too. Maybe Meekstone and Bridge aren't that OP then.

Bridge is actually better than in a normal round, because you can't try to sneak under with 0 power creatures. Meekstone is quite a bit worse because it still lets the creatures attack.

The discard spells are dealt with.

Let's ban Assassin's Trophy for the rest of the season.
For next round let's ban Ensnaring Bridge, Emtpy the Warrens, and to be sure let's also drop Meekstone. It costs just one mana, and it's quite dumb with the rules for this round.

Anyone opposed?

Ah I really thought we had already started brewing and the decks were needed tomorrow at noon :)

I was probably going to submit a meekstone deck, but i'm ok with it. We have another week to brew?
Is trophy still legal?
What about chancellor of the forge for this round? (this was middle T1 deck with bridge but now it's a tier 1 toxic deck)
To be noted that meekstone is not that strong. Vigilance beats it, manlands beat it... etc...

I would like to ban Trophy indefinitely, as I said in my post.
Chancellor of the Forge might be too good, but OTD it loses to quite a lot.

If the discussion about bannings keeps going, we might need to take an extra week, but I'm hoping we can get this going earlier.

I'm already trying to figure out how alternate win conditions work in the life round, pretty much figured out what I wanted to play in this round.

I can't disagree it's broken.
The other one I had was 2*Chancellor 2*Blazing Shoal, but Shoal is still banned.

Stupid was not the best choice of words. I didn't think it was so stupid, as it was my deck since a while, but I could not not disclose it once there was talk of banning and chancellor.
