I agree, I'm done voting. I'm more interested now in figuring out if Notion Thief is actually a thing.
Re: WotC Presents: You Make the Card 4
Yeah, I'm in the same boat and torn - do I vote for the cheese card in the finals, or the interesting card? Because it's gonna come down to Revenge vs Consuming.
Re: WotC Presents: You Make the Card 4
How dumb. They could have checked the nationality of the people way before Top8. I wasn't even aware of the fact, that only Americanos could submit rules text.
Re: WotC Presents: You Make the Card 4
none of those cards are worth to be the 20 year anniversary celibration card.
Re: WotC Presents: You Make the Card 4
Where are you guys getting this information from? I can't seem to find any new articles. In fact, it looks like they took down the previous article and wiped the associated thread from their message board.

i think it has to do with the fact that they dont want people sueing them because they came up with the idea for the card. Since they dont want to spend tons of cash on legislative issues, they just go for US only which is the biggest market under one law anyway and the one that they probably have the most expertise in.

The rule was "Only US and Canada". People broke it. And now people are complaining for being punished of breaking it. :eyebrow:

This contest sucked from the moment Enchantments won.

You're not excited that those Serra's Sanctums everyone has will skyrocket in value when an "Enchantments Matter" meta evolves? I see this as pure value-town. Reserve List = profits?

Finals are now up.
Voted for Necromancy. I really hope they fix the land part and give it a decent CC, though.

Finals: Blood in the watering can VERSUS Revenge of Necromancy
P.S.: How the fuck could Contract loose so badly against the watering can?! I call bullshit, WotC! You want to tell me that all of you and the players can come up with is an Oversold Cementary which soft-combos with Street Wraith? Come on.... (-.-)
Edit: Barook, der Bayern-Ninja ^^
Re: WotC Presents: You Make the Card 4
Voted for the blood can just because I want something truly awful to get printed. This is a good reminder why not everyone with an opinion should get to decide on how to make cards.
Re: WotC Presents: You Make the Card 4
Both those cards are fucking awful.
I wouldn't play either of them even if they only cost B.
Re: WotC Presents: You Make the Card 4
Contract was the only thing that kept it interesting for me. Are not legacy players really that different in what they consider a cool card?

Hmm, if they gave them a black color indicator then they could cost them at :0: and still have them be black cards.
Judging from the extremely low power level of the cards, this might be an indication that Wizards is going to test out their new negative casting cost system. It would be the only way to balance these cards.

I voted for Watering Can, but yeah, those choices are fucking awful.
