An actually exciting card? Sweet. Again, not a fan of double white spells. This definitely could be a thing with a heavy black build like Segals list
Random Rough list
Crossing Styx
4 Shriekmaw
4 Deathrite Shaman
4 Dark Confidant
4 Tidehollow Sculler
3 Athreos
3 Stoneforge Mystic
3 Thalia
4 STP
4 Innocent Blood
4 Thoughtseize
3 Liliana of the Veil
1 Umezawas Jitte
1 Batterskull
18 Lands
Therapy seems good and bad. Sacrificing a creature in a deck trying to achieve devotion seems rough
However, it's an out to Confidant killing you.

I don't think getting devotion is a primary goal - Athreos is there simply for CA/Burn combined with shriekmaw, IB and Lilliana. If you happen to get devotion that's just a bonus (or a minus since he can now be STPed and Terminus-ed).
Devotion count is 7 so this is best we can do:
1 - Land - Deathrite (Devotion - 1)
2 - Land - Athreos (Devotion - 3)
3 - Land - Tidehallow + Dark Confidant (Devotion - 6)
4 - Stoneforge Mystic (Devotion - 7)
How about a half hearted split to test?
4 Deathrite Shaman
4 Dark Confidant
4 Tidehollow Sculler

3 Thalia
3 Shriekmaw
1 Brimaz
4 STP
4 Innocent Blood
3 Liliana of the Veil
2 Thoughtseize
2 Cabal Therapy
1 Umezawas Jitte
1 Batterskull
18 Lands

That looks like too little lands - and I'm really tempted to try to add in vial?
I'd run at least twenty lands
I like the god but I think you really need a lot of ETB effects to make it worth it. Shriekmaw, Fleshbag Marauder, SFM, Blade Splicer. I also think it's hard to get it to devotion--if you're curving out perfectly, do you even need it to win? That makes Gatekeeper or Geralfs Messenger attractive to me. Basically I see it as more of a zombie card than deadguy. But at least at 3 CMC there's a relevant legacy conversation to be had.
Tournament Report. Placed 2nd in a 40 something tournament today. 4-1-1 in swiss. 2-1 in top 8. My match against Elves was on camera (PTQ was in drafting so there was a lull in play so they covered my match). I'll post a link when/if i get it.
Same list as the last one I put in. LOL, i haven't changed the main in quite a while.
Round 1. Bradford. Junk. 2-0.
Nice guy. His mistake was I had 2 Lingering Souls and Jitte. He STP one guy and Abrupt Decay the other, leaving Jitte alone. Hmmm...strange. In both games Bob was unchecked and he was color screwed.
Round 2. Derek. Sneak/show. 2-1.
He show and tells into Sneak attack. Dang, I had Shriekmaw in my hand for his Emrakul. Games 2 and 3 where won on the back of Thalia + Vindicate and Wasteland.
Round 3. Richard. Goblins. 2-0.
He kept slow hands and I had Bob plus tons of removal for his guys. He made mistakes in game 2. He should have cast his Warchief but instead he tries to waste my out of the game. Then later he's stuck on 2 mountains and 3 drops in hand.
Round 4. Ben. BUG Delver. 0-2.
Had first turn Mystic for Batterskull. Then wasted his underground sea. Unfortunately he lands a goyf that is protected from my STP and Vindicate with countermagic. Boo-urns. Game 2 I was drawing poo so I just scooped. LOL, i was probably a bit on tilt from not winning from a first turn mystic.
Round 5. Jon. Omnitell. 2-1.
Luckily, before we present decks he reveals an Enter the Infinite by accident when shuffling. So I know my creature removal this match sucks. Thoughtseize and hymn get there game 1. Game 2 was funny. He has 2 lands, a Cunning Wish, show and tell and a Dream halls (i knew this from a prior Thoughtseize). I cast Hymn to Tourach and cross my fingers. I get the Show and Tell and the Dream Halls. I love hymn :) But he's able to get the combo despite my uber Hymn. Game 3. Turn 1 Thalia with wasteland sealed the deal.
Round 6. ID.
Round 7. Maksym. Elves. Won 2-1. This match was on camera. will post link when I get it.
Game 1. My removal game 1 is 1 for 1. All I did was a Thoughtseize and a Plow. Not gonna get there, he double Glimpse into tons of poo. I give up since I know he has it.
Game 2. I Toxic Deluge for 1, wiping out his board of 2 Quirion Ranger and 1 Llanowar Elf, leaving my Stoneforge and Deathrite alone. Then I play Jitte. Then I play Humility GG.
Game 3. I remove every Permanent he had on board. Shriekmaw, wasteland, Vindicate etc. At the end I had Bob, Sword of Fire and Ice, Jitte, 2 Lingering Soul tokens to no permanents on his end.
Round 8. Seth. American Delver. 2-0.
Early Deathrite and Bob didn't die, and I got rid of his colored sources of mana and made sure his Lavamancers couldn't do anything. Game 2. He had True Name with Manriki on it. I cast Liliana to get rid of it. Bob goes unanswered.
Round 9. Ben. Bug Delver 1-2
Game 1. He countered or killed anything relevant and Goyf Ran wild.
Game 2. Shriekmaw with Batterskull got there. Gaining 7 life is nice, especially since he couldn't block with both Delver and Tombstalker.
game 3. I resolved RIP but Delver and 2 deathrites get there.
So i get a lot of store credit. I'm fine with that. Sideboard MVP were the Toxic Deluge and Thalia. Surprised Deluge isn't played more. Even in my deck it can be a plague wind and I don't play many big guys. Chrome Mox was sweet. Turn 1 Mystic (even though I lost) and turn 1 Thalia.
Nice finish! I am actually having trouble finding your list... I've gone back some pages and didn't see it. Team America seems like a rough match up to be honest. What do you think we could do to try to shore it up a bit?
Also I switched up my SB a bit for testing this wednesday. Went down to 2 Thalia, and 1 RIP, for 1 Spirit of the Labyrinth, and 1 Grafdiggers Cage. I figure Elves is a mediocre MU for us and cage helps that along with being alright vs Dredge, and Thalia has been weak for me so far since my meta has 0 storm combo. Plus I just want to test the spirit and that is the slot that made sense.
4 Dark Confidant
3 Stoneforge Mystic
3 Deathrite Shaman
2 Shriekmaw
1 Gatekeeper of Malakir
1 Hero of Bladehold
3 Thoughtseize
1 Cabal Therapy
3 Hymn to Tourach
3 Liliana of the Veil
3 Vindicate
4 Swords to Plowshares
1 Umezawa's Jitte
1 Sword of Fire and Ice
1 Batterskull
3 Lingering Souls
2 Chrome Mox
4 Scrubland
1 Bayou
3 Swamp
1 Plains
1 Karakas
4 Wasteland
4 Marsh Flats
2 Verdant Catacombs
1 Polluted Delta
Side. 2 Thalia, 2 Phyrexian Revoker, 1 Gaddock Teeg, 2 Surgical Extraction, 2 Rest in Peace, 1 Humility, 1 Toxic Deluge, 1 Zealous Persecution, 1 Duress, 2 Engineered Explosives.
hmmm...not sure. I'm usually really good vs Delver decks. But since some of the BUG lists are going with Bob Huang's Sideboard of more Disfigures and Charms, it can be a bit rough. LOL, Ben (who I know) said he put in a Maelstrom Pulse in the board because he hated losing to my Hero of Bladehold. I guess I could go back to 2 Heroes but seeing both in my hand sucks. Mirran Crusader is another option, but at the same time Crusader isn't that great vs white or red decks.
Elves is a really good matchup for me. I lose game 1 pretty badly. But game 2 and 3, I side in Humilty, 2 Explosives, 1 Zealous, 1 Deluge and 2 Revoker. LOL, gets much easier after that. Can't wait to post the video to show you.
Grafdigger's Cage is fine. I personally go with 2 Rest in Peace as part of my GY hate as a concession that Punishing Fire combo is stupidly good against Deadguy. Mercifully I haven't faced Punishing Fire in a while.
I havent gotten to test vs Delver much. It seems like a positive MU for us though. Any suggestions on how to play the MU?
For the most part it's Favourable. UR Delver is the hardest since...well it's essentially a better burn deck. I usually board in the removal, the explosives for sure and maybe the Persecution if they use True Name. And throw in a Rest in Peace if they are more GY based like say RUG Delver.
So I basically overload on removal, having more removal than they have guys. The longer they don't have creatures, the longer the game goes and then it favours deadguy more.

Here's a Link to the Match vs Elves....Quarterfinals Legacy.
Congrats to Wilkin on the results. I, on the other hand, went a very disappointing 2-4 at our 52-person SCGIQ yesterday. Same D&T-esque build that's been doing well for me lately, but ran into some really bad matchups. Short report:
Round 1: ANT 2-0
Game 1 I mull to 5 then lucksack a land off the top to cast Thalia the turn before he finds Therapy.
Game 2 I follow up discard with Canonist and Revoker on LED. Get some beats in, then when he makes a joyous noise at his last topdeck, I sheepishly vial in a Sculler and take the Massacre.
Round 2: MUD 1-2
I get there one game off Thoughtseize taking Metalworker followed by Thalia and Wasteland, but the other two games I just can't stop all the mana and he resolves endless huge dudes while Karn clears my board.
Round 3: Punishing Nic Fit 1-2
Take a quick game 1 by nabbing Veteran Explorer with Sculler then blowing up his only land and resolving Thalia. Games 2 and 3 infinite removal gets there, although I would have had game 3 if I'd found that Crusader a turn or two earlier.
Round 4: Lands 0-2
Game 1 he gets depths/stage loam online quickly, can't really interact. Game 2 I drop RiP to get rid of some P-fires and slow him down, he eventually K.Grips it while I draw multiple Moms instead of anything aggressive, and eventually sets up the win at 5 life.
Round 5: Merfolk 2-0
First strike is good, Jitte is good.
Round 6: Jund 0-2
My back hurts, so I make every possible play mistake.
Overall I think I was just badly positioned in the meta. To run a taxing strategy into 3 ramp decks in a row was a real kick in the pants. I also didn't play as tight this time around, but after the fact I couldn't really say that I wouldn't have lost those games even without the mistakes.
Rough match ups. Those seem like the actual worst match ups for the deck honestly. Punishing fire is also a beating
