B/c in those MU's, Progenitus still is better. D&T runs plenty of critters and perhaps even Mother of Runes. She giggles when she sees that silly Revenge and proceeds to block it like a man! Your opponents' Mother trumps your Revenge! Progenitus, however, is a different story.
Yup, you need something that can dodge yo' momma!
Kodama of the North Tree then?
I dunno... Only 4 toughness isn't that much to be excited about. A Mother with friends could be the death of your big and mighty piece of spirit-hardwood.
I know, I know! Silvos, Rogue Elemental! Tramples. Regenerates. Can be Plowed, but isn't stopped by yo' momma!
I have a softspot for the Onslaught series legendary pitfighters, especially the green and white ones.
Looking for a green Dude with evasion and kind of Hexproof?
A few months back we were trolling around with good old Rhox ;D

Posting this from my Twitter because people watching were wondering why I played this the way I did. In the end, the correct play won me the game here.
Some info:
- Obviously postboard. He's playing Schönegger Miracles
- our hand is empty/irrelevant
- Opponent is at 4; we are at 19
- Opponent has 3 cards in hand and hasn't missed a land drop yet
What's the correct play?

I would swing for 2 this turn, then swing for 2 next turn.
If he plows one of your dudes, pump the other one with pendlehaven. This lets you kill him in 2 turns even if he has a single plow in hand. If you pump proactively then he plows in response and it takes you 3 turns to kill him.
The argument for pumping and swinging turn one is that if he doesn't have plow, then you can put him off fetching. I think that's a worse line of play in most cases. He could just as easily have another dual or basic island in hand.
If your hand is irrelevant, the only way I see you realistically losing this game is him finding Wear/Tear to get everything back. I imagine an ambush by Containment Priest is also a possibility with two Plains up. Just keep sending your guys in, with Pendelhaven at the ready.
Containment Priest ambushes could be played around by activating the Pendelhaven only in the declare blockers step...if one wanted to use it in the first place.
The other thing, which is also really important since our opponent has not missed a land drop yet: playing around Pyroclasm, which is a possible play if he has a Volcanic Island in hand.
The important lesson in the above example is to assess which cards you are actually playing around. It's kind of similar to not attacking with all your Angels in Miracles when it doesn't kill your opponent.
My fellow Friends of Fyndhorn, we chopped a fir-child of Grand Mother Gaea to celebrate this day! Praise the Sun and the Mighty Oak, it's Christmas! A wonderful day and holidays for you and your loved ones around the world!
Christmas is tomorrow...
Not in Europe :-) For us tonight is the big night where everyone gets together, exchanges presents and someone's uncle drunkenly passes out on the floor. The 25th and 26th are there for chilling and playing video games; or in my case, driving up to Germany's largest Legacy tournament of the year.
