I'd play unsleeved if I thought I wouldn't get called for marked cards.
I did put perfect fits on my beta/alpha power this weekend as an experiment ... feels kind of clumsy when I riffle shuffle :laugh:

I'm not sure, I like T-Chinese cards; especially from the older sets (font is very boxy) but they don't show up very often on eBay (again the old stuff). If there is nobody really looking I'd imagine not much more than English wastelands (40-50). Korean wastelands show up all the time. I need to get rid of the Japanese ones as I really never use them. Also, there are no simplified chinese tempest cards ... simplified started with Invasion I think (maybe there was a small Urza Saga run also).

I'd really love to post up pictures of my English Foil BugStill list but I can't seem to get a hold of a set of foil deltas and wastelands for a decent price and I'm just not sure what to do about it.
The other option is to sell the whole lot for non-foil Japanese, but I'm not sure which I'd prefer.

Tough either way, depends on how much you really love foils. Finding (75 - Dual Lands and Forces) in Japanese won't be the easiest thing either but at least your lands won't be marked :laugh:

Ideally, if I could find someone with a decent Japanese collection, I'd love to trade out the entire foil deck for its non-foil foreign counterparts, but its hard to find people willing to make such a trade as I'm not too in love with my foilies.

Agreed. I've been trying to T-Chinese nonfoil out my deck, but some stuff like Ancient Tomb doesn't seem to exist, or anything else from Tempest block for that matter.

Stuff from tempest is tough to find, but I can fall back on Korean for that whole block. Urza's cycle T-Chinese can be hard to find also, I picked up a metric fucking ton of it when I was in Taiwan for a couple months last fall.
I have a contact there, he's a great dealer and runs the best shop in Taipai. I'll PM you his info.

Have one...and just finished a trade for another one...bloody hard to aquire...not as had as a double signed concentrate (or Shatterstorm) but still pretty hard.
Currently trying to get a double signed Revised Plateau together (Tucker / Brudi)...Never seen one. That should be nice....:cool:

What's that format that the Swedes play with no cards past like the Dark? You can't use foreign cards or anything past unlimited? Type 94?

I have a fun non-foil Russian deck on the way. Waiting for 4 cards from Italy, and I'll post it. 69 out of the 75 will ultimately be Russian (I'll be able to post 66).

Got a bunch of smaller stuff in this week. The Beta Starters aren't full, they're just the boxes with the story inside to help round out the Beta Cube's essence. Plus, the obligatory Tim Hortons ad spot.

We call it "93-94", legal editions is alpha, beta, unlimited, arabian nights, antiquities, legends and the dark. It's philosopy is that these where the cards that was printed during this era (93-94) and to preserv the "old-school" feeling about it revised is not allowed. Fallen Empiers was printed in 94 but it could be bought during 95 and doesn't quite fit the "old-school" feeling, so it was cut.
