I might be in Columbus. It happens during the summer so I won't have any classes and I only live about a 1.5 hour drive away. But, in general I avoid larger tournaments particularly in Legacy which I am far from good at.

I understand. I have only played in a single gp and it was charlotte last year. I enjoy the experience and relish the competition.
I suggest you come and at least see the other nic fitters. GPs are wonderful experiences. I only wish more of the euro players could come and join in the merriment.
Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit
I'll be at both Charlotte and Columbus, although I have no idea if I'm actually going to play at Charlotte or not yet. I might. Faeries is almost done.

Deal with their win cons and they are done. usually 2 jtms, 1 entreat, 1-2 mentor. F*ck Miracles, get money.
@Ralf: But what about seedtime? I am still not sold on that card but I know you will test it and I can only hope you prove me wrong.
Intent is a double edged sword. Casting it exposes you in some degree (unless, you know, fetch -> Dryad Arbor, hur hur) but resolving it ensures you get whatever nasty thing you need and probably puts you in a good position to start taking over the game (or hanging on for dear life another turn b/c you had to get another PtE). Heck, I run 2. I also run more creatures than most, 8 green fetches and a Dryad Arbor though.
Vs. Miracles it's tricky b/c it's countered quite easily. If you do manage to push it through (say lategame, you Krosan Grip/AD (if you're a normal person) their Counterbalance and then cast Intent) Sorin might just steal you the game.
I'm also MD'ing Sorin by the way. Running it instead of Dromoka. Most of the time I don't GSZ for anything bigger than Sigarda anyways. Although vs. Miracles GSZ for X = 6 instead of 5 can be a thing. Fucking CB with Terminus on top...
You could always run several Jester's Caps. Capping Miracles seems like one of the coolest things ever.

Perfect. Couldn't find it because 8post without space 😉
Thanks
Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit
I do have to say that I like the MCH spice, it allows to remove taiga and on paper it seems like a problematic threat against control. The will to try that card gives me the enthusiasm to play mtgo again after a little break from it

The cost of Mistcutter Hydras on modo ($.02) makes me want to try this. At worst, I lose $8.08. The spice is real.
I'm also tempted to try out Abeyance, despite my immense skepticism. As skeptical as I am of Abeyance, I think that Seed Time is even narrower. (Was Seed Time a joke? Despite my limited knowledge of you Ricardio, trolling seems like it's in your wheelhouse.)

MCH will hopefully do what I want and that is kill the miracles. I anticipate a few swords and then they die. 4 times .02 equals .08, trust me, im illiterate.
Me? Troll? Listen here, new guy, I aint no troll. Seedtime is a legitimate card with doctors and nurses, just like sex addiction.
I was making a point that narrow cards don't fit this archetype well because we have the mana to do what we want and how we want it.

Ricardio? Troll? You must be new 'round here, boy.
He is the epitome of seriousness and sobriety. Don't throw around words against people, the gents in this thread simply won't allow it.

I don't use Intent, and I do use Courser. I've never had a problem with Miracles, always gone 1-0 or 1-1 against it. I don't think I've ever actually lost to it ever since I switched from Pod to Rhino. But I play against the builds with diversified threats rather than Entreat. The only times I ever seem to lose are when I get locked out behind both Venser/Karakas and Counter/Top. But getting a Top of your own is very important in the match.

We are the better grind but jtms throws a phallus shaped wrench into our plans.
Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit
Hi guys, sorry if it had been answered before. What do you think about Vraska as a win condition/jace killer?

Or are you better off with some combination of Slaughter Games/Armageddon/From the Ashes/Carpet of Flowers?
I think 4 Mistcutter....even if you think it's the bomb...is too much. The lack of Meren of Clan Nel Toth is also disturbing -- but I'm not sure if that is a MTGO issue/cost concern.

Vraska, Garruk, Sorin - all the same piece of the pie. I think the new Sorin is more powerful for the extra mana. If Vraska were 2BG, then we'd be running that all day.
