Besides the fact that Portuguese sounds like a gypsy-bastardization of Spanish theres nothing pimp about Portuguese culture. I went to Lisbon a couple years ago and it reminded me of Bucharest in the late 90's. After that visit its no surprise that countries like Slovenia and the Czech Republic are blowing by Portugal in terms of GDP/capita. If Portugal didn't receive all the support it does from the EU it would be a complete disaster area. This is why Portuguese is the least pimp language there is.

Personally, I consider 'Götterdämmerung' the most awesome german name for a card ever printed. But the Dreadnoughts are nice as well.

If we and our economy are in disgrace is because of years and years of corruption by the scums of the Socialist/Popular Parties. This situation makes me sad.
Lisbon is a very old city, is natural that it looks old. Portugal as his borders since 1297 "Tratado de Alcanizes", we are the oldest country in Europe.
You call japanese pimp but I will let you know that Portuguese language is the ocidental language with more influence in their culture. Pan, butan and some other japanese words came from us. The Portuguese arrived in Japan in 1543. Japan was known since the time of Marco Polo, who called Cipango. But the Portuguese were actually the first Europeans to arrive in Japan. The Portuguese also introduced into Japan firearms, and new knowledge in medicine, astronomy, mathematics, and teaching the art of navigation by the Portuguese.

Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks
although i generally collect Japanese and English language foil, i have a soft spot for T-Chinese
in fact, my favorite ever foil is in this language:

however, S-Chinese can be truly ugly - witness the fitness:

as a comparison, here are some random foils from onslaught - i prefer the Chinese versions:

bonus! German language onslaught randoms:

take that!

Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks
really? i thought the blocky cards are simplified and the more fluid ones are traditional - wow learn something new everyday!
Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks
see my ghastly demises on top. S- vs T-Chinese.
Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks
With all the talk about Chinese cards I should post my deck later on, despite most people disliking the T-Chinese stuff.
Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks
Very nice RUGstill deck! I have Dreadstill as well, but I've shelved it too :P
I agree, Gotterdammerung is pretty hot, but so is Gespenstisches Gefängnis, Feld der Unterdrückung, and Gerechtigkeit des Schicksals. Ah, I love playing my German White Stax deck, and announcing every card in German. It's fabulous.

Sorry, I was just kidding. Although Kaka and C Ronaldo are dicks.

Stillstand is my favorite. Well done.
Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks
A couple more cards for my BUG Landstill Deck. I dont have a scanner, so I apologize for the crappy quality. I just completed my playset of Foil Spell Snare, and I still need another foil Life from the Loam. The foil Innocent blood was picked up in a sweet deal the other day.

Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks
Yeah, Mindslaver is pretty cool in German, I have to agree. What's the longest German card name?
I've seen some Mercedes-Benz wiring diagrams in German. Now that's some rough stuff, but at least it's specific. :)

Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks
The Sonnenbadende Wurzeleidechse has got a long name, the longest I know. The Frühlingsblättertrommel has probably got the longest one-worded (?) name ever.
Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks
Quietschkuchen-Raupenkerl is pretty awesome. Most German card names are really stupid. As for the longest German card name, I'm not sure, but Godo, señor de la guerra de los bandidos is the longest Spanish one I think.
Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks
quietschkuchen-raupenkerl is much funnier in russian:Червячник из Пищащей Ватрушки
tscherwyatschnik iz pischtaschteij watruschki looooooool
