To anyone who wants to be a real high roller, get foil textless duresses. They only cost 1 grand a pop or so/infinitely more than every other version. As for which version I like the best, arena league foil duresses with the original art by far. The new art is decent, but that new border shit is terrible when you can have old bordered pimp. 7th ed. is alright, but I like the arena art and flavor text a lot more.Quote:

I thought about getting original foils, but to me pimping is all about what I find good looking. Judge Deeds have the better art and card border for foiling, imho. I don't like the old multicolored frame. Other old borders are superior, and hence are foil in the deck. Same holds for Japanese or Korean, I don't like the way most of them look so I stick to English and sometimes German (funny language that I can actually read). Don't forget, English is already foreign language for us Dutchies.

Yes, I do recognize the value of Japanese foils, but I'm only really interested in English, German or Russian. Russian is too hard to find and impossible to fully foil out, though.

That's why my decks are usually Chinese/Japanese/German/Russian.....Ancient Greek? If you can read some Japanese you should be able to nit-pick out some characters on Chinese cards.
