That line was taken straight from your tournament report, which was a great read by the way.
Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)
Oh i know but that card is nowhere near legacy playable.
That card reads like this to me:
3 mana, to use this 1 turn from now for 2 more mana. By Activating me, I give your opponent 7 more chances to mess up whatever I'm doing.
Also I'm a creature that dies to so many things.

An interesting thing about it though is that you can Sneak it into play then activate it the same turn.

Yeah, it's probably a worse version of Shattered Perception.
Suppose your opponent is playing discard based disruption and hits you with an on the play Thoughtseize. Is that a scenario where you'd be happy to have the Magus in your hand or not?
It's bad, but Magus is also a funny way to mess with LED - Infernal Tutor tricks. Off Sneak Attack you could even hit them post Ad Nauseam.
Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)
As all have said, it's almost certainly garbage, but look at the goofy deck we choose to play. LOL
I own the cards to play most tier one legacy decks, but choose to play with cards and decks that I enjoy. I'll be play testing with a group of friends on Sunday, and will report what Pat Sajak did or didn't do for me.
2k at Mythic Games Elmira NY
Again I was seeded 1st at the end of pool play (6 rounds, 49 cats) only to lose a match in top 8 before the finals. Balls. Wins against D&T, D&T, TES, Jund, White Stax. Only losses on the day were: Jeskai Stoneblade round 1 and...oh, Jeskai Stoneblade (different pilot) in round 1 of top 8. I should do something about that.
And to all the haters, Magus of the wheel is a 3 of in my 75.
Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)
I'm intriguted by Magus of the Wheel, but in what matchups do you usually sideboard them in?

Board or main?
Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)
1 main 2 board.
They come in against miracles, stoneblades, pretty much any UWx deck, haven't tested it against anything else but it for sure comes in those matchups. Anything that plays the attrition game. You have to remember we generally have more threats than they have counter effects, drawing 7 for both feels symmetrical, but mathematically, it rarely is. We NEED card draw in the mid to late game against control decks, this is it.

I would love to see your newest list.
I played in a large 84 person event last Sunday, and did so poor, 3 and 6, that I tore the deck apart and sleeved up Sneak and Show. The event went terrible. Three times I lost matches after sneaking in an Emrakul and then just stalled out while the opponent rebuilt their board and eventually beat me to death with any threat they found! It was truly disheartening!
If I decide to play the deck again, I will be playing at least 3 to 4 Worldspine Wurms. In the 3 matches I lost after swinging with Emrakul, if I had played the Wurm instead, I would have won everyone of those games.

We've all lost to this happening. It's a thing.
Hiser has been having luck by shaving a mountain and adding in a Coercive Portal. Adds some much needed card draw.
Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)
So... tired out pat sajack last night. I didn't like him before and I can say without a shadow of a doubt. I don't like him at all. What's worse than having your opponent play a bunch of counter spells in their deck? Having your opponent draw 7 cards.

T4 inferno titan for the win
Which spell did you cast at the end of his T2, G2?? that Pyrokinesy (??) from your post before?
It shows how sometimes it doesn't need to show how inconsistent the deck is :D. I love it too though. Congratulations.
Also, I'm intrigued by your "no Griselbrand" argument. Although, it does have the much needed card draw in this deck to finish someone off, and It does give for some really explosive plays where you pump out Grisel with Sneak Attack, draw into a Lotus Petal/Shaman for the Emrakul to hit the board. But it hasn't served you like that? =/
Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)
I'm sorry but Magus is garbage. As potatodavid said I cut 1 mountain and added a coercive portal and it's helped a lot. Once I do some more fine tuning I'm gonna try to squeeze in another.
Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)
Trying a second Wurm in favor of the 3rd emrakul. gonna see how that pans out.
God I hope that chandra spoiler is for real.

Except for stuff like StP (although... Karakas on the other hand), it feels like the wurm is better to seal the deal. Maybe that's a way to off-set the lack of drawing into more threats. Let us know.
Also, why would that Chandra be better than Inferno Titan? Barring the 6 mana, draw a card (if you hadn't emptied your hand yet).

Would likely not replace titan. Would likely get flexed in a single (possible coercive portal replacement) and maybe a couple in the board. All 3 modes are useful given the right opponent.

New Chandra Confirmed in Oath. OH HAPPY DAY FOR THIS DECK!

Hope it's sarcasm, cause I can't see the use for her in this deck. I see her as too expensive, as a lot of other Red Planeswalkers. Red always gets the crappy PW's .
