11:15, Restate my assumptions:
- Mathematics is the language of nature.
- Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers.
- If you graph the numbers of any system, patterns emerge.
Therefore, there are patterns everywhere in nature. Evidence:
- The cycling of disease epidemics
- The wax and wane of caribou populations
- Sun spot cycles
- The rise and fall of the Nile
- The growing and fading cries to ban Brainstorm/unban Survival on the Source

Is it your sole job to be a comedic ass online? Because everytime I see a post from you, it's spot on and funny as fuck.

It's not a 2-drop and it's not Red. Ergo, it's crap. :P
Re: All B/R update speculation.
Serious suggestion here: why not ban Precursor Golem? It's similar to Worldgorger Dragon in terms of literally breaking the game and forcing a draw: all it takes is for two of them to hit the field and for a spell to target one of them, causing the other to be targeted as well, cauing the first to be targeted again, and so on and so on.
Either that or unban Worldgorger Dragon.

Nope. Otherwise storm card copies would trigger storm which would trigger storm which... Copied cards are put on to the stack and you choose targets.

Agreed. LED is nowhere near comparable.
I predict that fake Chinese prints will get banned.
Re: All B/R update speculation.
Led won't be banned until fow is banned and brainstorm would be banned before that, but I would speculate that both fow and led would be a lot worse without brainstorm.

Re: All B/R update speculation.
14 of top 16 decks at SCG tonight were Brainstorm decks. Fwiw.
Re: All B/R update speculation.
Id be curious to see if giving ponder the ax would nerf blues format dominance while allowing brainstorm to still be played. preordain will fill the cantrip slot and make brainstorm decks rely heavily on fetches for their shuffle effects. I think most people agree blue has an unfair portion of the format with the flip side being the card is unique and vital to keeping combo decks in check. But who knows I think its safe to say b.s. is not going anywhere.

Welp, they printed a Hatekitty in Born of the Gods, so probably not.
Re: All B/R update speculation.
I just saw it myself, should definitely push maverick, dead guy and death and taxes up the rungs.
Re: All B/R update speculation.
HMMM. wheres the ban tnn crowd? since its been a few months and a handful of tourney results, i figured legacy will bow down to the all mighty 3/1.
were still playing legacy right? format is still healthy as ever. yay!

Yeah, if you like blue and dislike combo.

Half of the top 16 of the latest SCG tourney were SFM/TNN, 3 Tempo decks and 3 cheat-fat-creature-into-play-decks ... that's not healthy imo

yeah.... but none of those cards - SFM or TNN is banworth i think...
And SCG (AKA "MTG Mafia") tourneys shouldn't be the only source to gather data. lol
