You can usually tell the kinds of people who play it as well, they are people who are quite unoriginal and content with mediocrity. I just can't even begin to understand what kind of idiot doesn't even want to play their deck and only react to their opponents spells it just so damn boring and lacks anything that even resembles entertainment. I also have never seen a pilot play this who looked even remotely happy to be playing the deck. To each their own I guess but I will always despise this deck. I love playing against it because I rarely lose but, it just takes so fucking long (someone ALWAYS goes to time at least once), and has the most unoriginal gameplan in Magic. At least Burn is slightly exciting to play, especially when ur about to enter topdeck mode against fast aggro. You are actually playing your deck, which is really all that matter to me in Magic. I could give a fuck less what my opponent wants to do, I just want to play a bunch of spells and cast Tendrils :)
He fails to mention he's apart of Team Bad Guys which hosts a BUNCH of landstill players.
Personally solidarity is pretty shitty. UW Tempo breaks my balls. Stop blocking. GOSH. Actually try to win the game. Geeze!!!
Playing control against lands used to be aweful. I wonder if it still is. That would probobly be my landstill hate vote.
Re: Least fun deck to play against?
Merfolk. Because you can never really know your matchup against it. Its annoying that 70/100 games you crush, but they get that Vial->Standstill draw and you might as well scoop.

These are the type of decks that when you are an inch from winning play something that prevents you from doing that, but if you just could find your answer you would be ok. And then you find your answer, but while digging for it they played something else that keeps you from winning. But that's ok, if you just find the answer and then you find it and... so it goes. I hate that so much.
You might wanna add Quinn to your list.
Re: Least fun deck to play against?
Merfolks. Since when did blue start raping other colors as aggro decks?
Re: Least fun deck to play against?
I've never had less fun in Magic the Gathering than playing match after match against Goblin Trenches. I know, that's not Legacy.
Came back to the format after a stint away, figured "Eh I'll just rock a little Spring Tide combo, surely that's still playable.... wait lemme read that... oh, Iona." That was a pretty lousy day, haha
Re: Least fun deck to play against?
I find Sneak and Show decks pretty unfun to play against. One second, you have no idea what you're playing against, the next they shit out a hasty Emrakul and Progenitus.
Re: Least fun deck to play against?
Anything that is non-interactive. I'm here to play, not watch you jerk off.
Burn tends towards this, Belcher if you arent playing FoW, prison and Stasis decks, dredge can have those kinds of draws. I dont mind playing storm combo variants since usually there is some interaction, same with slow reactive control.

I've never played against Enchantress before, but after reading excerpts of the mirror match, I hope I never do:

Some of the highlights of the match:
I don't think Enchantress is the most annoying deck to play against per se, but that Enchantress mirror could be the most annoying overall matchup in the format. When the match comes down to not decking yourself first, you've got a boring game of Magic. I've also played some Landstill mirrors that came down to the same thing and I'm purposely holding card draw spells back to avoid decking myself. One thing for the Enchantress mirror is that you could maindeck a single Wheel of Sun and Moon and target yourself with it to avoid decking yourself. I actually like to play Enchantress on MWS, but if I find myself in a mirror match, I'll just say "no thank you" and quit.
Re: Least fun deck to play against?
Storm combo, it's really fun taking 30 seconds for my turn then watching you jerk off for 5-10 minutes on your turn trying to figure out when to go off and how to win.
Re: Least fun deck to play against?
It's curious, as an Enchantress player I love mirror matches, even more now. There's nothing like Aura of Silence and Dovescape + Green Sun's Zenith @ 15.
Re: Least fun deck to play against?
I know this isnt Legacy but Warp World based EDH decks are douchebag decks too.
Re: Least fun deck to play against?
I think that its funny that people who think that games who drag on a 40 minute round one, is annoying. But if you REALLY know you have no chance of beating their board advantage pre-side. Concede so you can side properly and have a hell of a lot better chance game 2.
Now i know it seems stupid because something miraculous may happen, but if you know once they get the lock going, why are you really playing it through? Stax under a 3sphere after a geddon? Why are you playing it out. Sure they know they can win the match 1-0 so don't give them the chance.
Combo is by far the worst to play(?) against.
Re: Least fun deck to play against?
Easily Merfolk. It's annoying how the deck can be mono-colored (blue of all colors) and be so effective in a format where playing with a single color is usually a huge disadvantage. Also, the speed at which it beats face makes it almost like a combo deck if it gets a good enough hand. The presence of FoW/Daze are just icing on the cake.
Also, even though I personally have no problem with Dredge, I kind of feel bad whenever someone plays the deck against a newbie or someone unaware that the deck existed. Dredge hardly interacts, it plays in such an unorthodox way, wins very quickly, and uses complicated and obscure cards (Bridge from Below) that never see the light of day in any other deck.

Re: Least fun deck to play against?
Update: anything involving Show and Tell and Emrakul, becomes it allows any potential ape-brained idiot to win tournaments, and this should see an end. If i were to play such a deck, I'd let Burn players stir their pride for playing a more skill-intensive deck than mine.
Re: Least fun deck to play against?
This might be out of topic but lately, I've been hearing tons of complains about Show and Tell > Emrakul. Another to-watch card?

To watch for what? It's not raping the format or anything, is it?.
Re: Least fun deck to play against?
But it's stupid good. As in, very easy to play and idiot proof. Plus it's one of the few good combos against control. Force of Will decks have trouble against Show and Tell because the deck contains No dead cards + requires no rituals. Show and tell can be boarded in against blue in many many combo decks, giving them the edge post board against control. For example, Doomsday, Necrotic Ooze and Reanimator can play the show and tell plan after board and have the space for a bazillion hate cards. This is how I board in Dday against blue:
Out Tendrils, Meditate, 4 LED, 4 Lotus Petal, 3 Dark Ritual.
In 4 Show and Tell, 3 Emrakul, 2 Thoughtseize, 2 Spell Pierce, 2 Duress.
It's insane how lopsided the postboard MU is.
Re: Least fun deck to play against?
Do you think it's right to cheat a card that essentially undoes all your turns and your board in one shot? i think it's not.
Do you think it's right to cheat it at the cost of 3? I think it' s not. Especially in a format where you can do it on turn 2 protected (really, staistically it is not that difficult).
Do you think it's legitimate to make idiots win tournaments? When did Legacy stop requiring skill and turning into Vintage-style shit?
And let people who don't know that you can Stifle the Hideaway trigger come on the top of a 298-men tourney only because they're allowed to go on with their comfortable "oops, IcheatintoplaythisdudethatwinsmealonegamesIwouldntotherwise" button?
I wouldn't care if Emrakul was a honest 15/15 only, it's the fucking Annihilator 6 that's disturbing.
And don't try to fill the "Oblivion Ring, Sower of temptation, Karakas" defense. Those cards are awful normally.
At the very least, they should reword Show and Tell with the "Planeswalker included" clause only to see half of the blue players jizz in joy when they bring down their Jace opposed to that fucking Beefdrazi.
