February 2012 Update
Look at how exponential I am!
http://i.imgur.com/SoHF4.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/rIJzV.jpg
The cutoff falls at 107 points, leading to this fairly short and definitely very unequal DTB:
- Maverick
- Threshold UGR
- Blade Control
- Reanimator
- ANT
- Dredge
Honourable mention must go to Nic Fit, which misses the DTB score by a mere .08 point, which I think might be the closest shave since the new system was put into place. Nic Fit players and would-be players, don't be disappointed - consider it a small help at going under the radar for another month ;)
Thanks to forum member bilb_o for spotting a typo that made seven points' worth of Nic Fit placements get listed under "Nic fit". With those extra points, Nic Fit is DTB #7 for the month.

March 2012 Update
GP: Indianapolis is done, and it's past time for another update:
http://i.imgur.com/c5MGx.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/1LjOB.jpg
The threshold is 114 points, which this time makes for a neat DtB:
- Maverick
- Threshold UGR
- Blade Control
- Burn
- Reanimator
- Sneak Attack
- Nic Fit
(Burn is in the DtB, go take a shot of your favourite liquor, it's the rules.)
I have also decided to promote the Bant thread to the DtB, since on our site it handles all decks built around the Bant structure, whereas TCDecks splits them depending on whether they maindeck NO/Prog, CounterTop, or neither, and the versions with either package are a small minority at this point. I don't like second-guessing TCDecks, but all those decks share something like 55/60 cards and have a total score of 143, so I think the exception is necessary. Just don't go make a "Decks with FoW and Brainstorm"-thread to try and get more easily in the DtB.

April 2012 Update
Hi, my name is Legacy and I'm a three-deck format. (But not necessarily a rock-paper-scissors one.)
http://i.imgur.com/ShCIU.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/C3Sty.jpg
And when you weight the results by full performance, it's possible that "two and a half deck format" might be more accurate.
The cutoff is at 143 points, leading to this short DTB:
- Maverick
- Blade Control
- Threshold UGR
- Dredge
- ANT
- Sneak Attack

May 2012 Update
This is a staggeringly uneventful update. Kind of expected this would occasionally happen with regular monthly posts, to be fair.
http://i.imgur.com/9AW3Z.png
http://i.imgur.com/TLC65.png
The cutoff is 114 points, so the new DTB is *sarcastic drumroll*:
- Maverick
- Threshold UGR
- Blade Control
- Nic Fit
- Team America
- ANT
- Dredge
So yeah, a tiny bit of shufflin' in the lower rungs, and Blade Control went from "#2, close to #1" to "#3, close to #2". No need to rush to sell your deck, for this month.
Re: DTBF Philosophy & Deck Selection
June 2012 Update
Grognards rejoice! After an obscenely long absence, classic U/W Control has returned to the top-tier of Legacy on the wings of a bunch of cheap angels and one-mana Wraths of God! And bringing Counterbalance with it, for those of us who missed that other bastard too.

http://i.imgur.com/dOCBw.png
Yup. U/W Miracle Control has debuted straight in the top league. The cutoff is at 95 points, and the resulting DTB:
- Threshold UGR
- Maverick
- Blade Control
- Sneak Attack
- Miracle Control
- UR Delver/Burn
- Team America

July 2012 Update
Through the process of writing this metagame update I have learnt a very important lesson, and I wish to share it with you: cinnamon + milk + coffee = great. Cinnamon + coffee = very bad.

The cutoff is 130 points, leading to this DTB:

- Maverick
- Miracle Control
- Sneak Attack
- Blade Control
- Dredge
- Reanimator
Re: DTBF Philosophy & Deck Selection
August 2012 Update
Looking at this month's progression, it seems the curves are softening and flattening, and that the scene is broadening and becoming more open to new entrances. But enough talking about your mother. Let's take a look at Legacy:
http://i.imgur.com/0e4Ml.png
http://i.imgur.com/yvpPa.png
The cutoff is 102 points, so we do have a relatively large DTB:
- Maverick
- Threshold UGr
- Blade Control
- Miracle Control
- Reanimator
- Merfolks
- Goblins
- Sneak Attack
- Dredge
i.e. every DTB stays a DTB, but the tribes of Merfolk and Goblins join them. Merfolk isn't huge news, but how fucking forever has it been single Goblins was a DTB? Welcome back basic Mountains, we missed you! (No, Burn doesn't count)
Re: DTBF Philosophy & Deck Selection
September 2012 Update
i didn't forget about this the update is totally on time i don't know what you're talking about shut up
http://i.imgur.com/EVAE2.png
http://i.imgur.com/czzYs.png
The cutoff is a mere 82 points, so try to not put too much weight in this month's results - August is a pretty dead time for tournaments, what with everybody enjoying the sun rain and all.
Also don't forget about Dredge just because they fell half a point off the cut. Merfolk's fall, on the other side, was a bit more dramatic.
New DTB:
- Threshold UGR
- Maverick
- Miracle Control
- Blade Control
- Sneak Attack
- Goblins
edit: I'm adding Omniscience to the DTB for this month since it turns out the Omnitell category was actually added only recently, and the deck's placements also make up a large part of Sneak Attack's. Hopefully for the next update all Omniscience decks will fall under Omnitell.

October 2012 Update
The dead return just in time for Halloween, although it's not a particularly triumphant return.
http://i.imgur.com/Z40uh.png
http://i.imgur.com/ZD7nW.png
The cutoff is 127 points, giving this DTB:
- Miracle Control
- Threshold UGR
- Maverick
- Blade Control
- Goblins
- Merfolk
- Omniscience
- Dredge
- Reanimator
Still. Bring back those <ridiculous gravehate card>s.
(Note: Omniscience is still in the list because the Tier Decks page - the second picture - erroneously split between Omnitell and OmniTell. Put together they have 178 points.)

The cutoff is at 103 points, giving us this DTB:
- Threshold UGR
- Blade Control
- Miracle Control
- Maverick
- Goblins
- Team America
- ANT
- Reanimator
Why hello there ANT, hope you enjoyed those six months' break!

December 2012 Update
Late update, I blame the God-killing Jews.
http://i.imgur.com/mbVqc.png
http://i.imgur.com/N6EeQ.png
The threshold is at 105 points, so there's a whopping ten decks slipping past the threshold, although none are particularly new faces:
- Threshold UGr
- Miracle Control
- Team America
- Goblins
- Maverick
- BUG Control
- Sneak Attack
- OmniTell
- Blade Control
- ANT
Note that the line betwen the TCDecks categories of Team America and BUG Control is pretty damn blurry, so they're covered in the forums by the two TA threads.

January 2013 Update
New Year's resolution: smoke more crack.
http://i.imgur.com/khkUw.png
http://i.imgur.com/LUrwE.png
I like months when the cutoff is pretty clear. And we even have two new DTB! "New" as in "we haven't seen one in over a year, and one is completely new to the DTB! In fact, it's getting promoted straight from the cesspit of N&D!"
A 99 points requirements gives this:
- Team America
- Threshold UGr
- Blade Control
- Miracle Control
- BUG Control
- Maverick
- Jund
- Sneak Attack
- The Rock
Congratulations to the winner of this month:

So, uh... holy shit, Jund. We'd been having a top 3 of UGR, Maverick, and U/W Control for what? Two years? Jesus Christ.
The cutoff is at 81 points:
- Blade Control
- Jund
- Threshold UGr
- Team America
- BUG Control
- Reanimator
- Elves
- Sneak Attack

We've had fewer tournaments this month, so the cutoff is a mere 71 points (sorry, OmniTell!). The DTB:
- Jund
- Blade Control
- Threshold UGr
- Sneak Attack
- Miracle Control
- Ad Nauseam Tendrils
- Team America

Balanced metagame without lots of domination means a larger DTB than usual. The cutoff is 111 points and no, I haven't seen any little green men handing money around, why do you ask?
- Threshold UGR
- Sneak Attack
- Blade Control
- Jund
- Miracle Control
- ANT
- BUG Control
- Maverick
- Team America
- Goblins

In the middle of a minor reshuffle of the previous month's decks, an old friend reappears to provide a bare minimum of excitement and dream-crushing Waste-Port-Daze-smash:
- Threshold UGR
- Blade Control
- Sneak Attack
- Jund
- Maverick
- Team America
- Miracle Control
- Merfolk
- BUG Control*
- ANT
* 16 out of 17 lists in the category were built around Shardless Agent, so that's the thread that will appear in the DTB

June 2013 Update
Did people get a life or something in May? The number of tournaments has gone down by over a third compared to April. Oh well.
http://i.imgur.com/QW7YZ1S.png
http://i.imgur.com/7F12W7f.png
Cutoff at 63 points. No huge changes but U/G/B appears king of the roost for now:
- Team America
- BUG Control*
- Threshold UGR
- Blade Control
- Jund
- Miracle Control
- ANT
- Reanimator
- Maverick
- Elves
- OmniTell**
* Again, all but one are Shardless BUG
** All but one are MonoU builds, so that's the thread that got promoted

Cutoff at 86 points leads to a large DTB, twelve thirteen decks, as new entry Patriot (aka UWR Delver) squeezes in by a hair's breadth, after a mere 18 strong finishes:
- Canadian Thresh (TCDecks: Threshold UGr)
- Shardless BUG (TCDecks: BUG Control)
- Sneak Attack
- Jund
- Miracle Control
- Ad Nauseam Tendrils
- Death and Taxes
- Maverick
- Elves
- MonoU OmniTell (TCDecks: OmniTell)
- Team America
- DeathBlade
- UWR Delver (TCDecks: Patriot)
EDIT: Thanks to Holly for spotting that DeathBlade's results were accidentally split by the TCDecks software. Deathblade joins the DTB with a total of 97 points.

Back down from thirteen to "only" nine decks. Sorry for Patriot who is a mere .098 point out.
- Canadian Thresh (TCDecks: Threshold UGr)
- DeathBlade
- Shardless BUG (TCDecks: BUG Control)
- Sneak Attack
- Death and Taxes
- Jund
- Elves
- Ad Nauseam Tendrils
- Rest in Pieces (aka U/W Miracle with the Helm of Obedience / RiP combo; the general U/W Miracle thread will be promoted for now)
