Re: [M10] General Discussion on Rules Changes
^^ I think he was talking about vintage
Anyways, I'll just respond to the vintage comment...
Alara afaik did nothing, and the two previous blocks really influenced my pet Vintage deck, Ichorid with new reanimation targets. But these blocks as a whole have been mediocre.
EDIT:
Whoops. I forgot Tezzeret, he makes Alara better.
@Raindown:
I believe that this rules change affects decks very slightly. AFAIK no decks are "killed"...

Are there any legacy deck which just get the boot now with the new changes or is there nothing that significant? :really:
Well, anything with LED that floated mana to the draw step on a regular basis has become quite significantly weaker now. That's the biggest hit unless I missed something major. Dead? Doubtful. LED remains very good.
Apart from that, there'll be small but numerous adjustments for many decks, but how many of them'll remain on a tactical level I can't say.
That Brand deck, FEB, and maybe some other peripheral decks do die, though.
Re: [M10] General Discussion on Rules Changes
The Time Spiral block gave Tarmogoyf and the entire Manaless Ichorid archtype.
EDIT: Just to not be offtopic: the new rules do actually kill some decks, the most recent one that stupidity centered around Cascade and Bonds of Agony. Thank god.
