I recently got a hold of 4 Burning Wish with a fish drawn on them with black magic marker. The fish looks the same on all four of them. Could this be Scott M. Fischer's signature and does this do anything for the price? Generally I dont like signed cards but I figured I'll ask before I ship them back to the seller.
That is Scott M Fischer's signature. Generally, it should be at equal or lesser value. Signatures don't add value to cards.Quote:

I've seen plenty of playsets valued and bought for slightly more only due to cool signatures... I don't own much signed cards but for example I have a set of foil JSS City of brass signed in gold by Tedin which looks amazing, and various collectors/sellers who saw it tended to value it 15-20 eur above normal playset price (therefore 110-120 eur + 15/20 eur).Quote:

When I ask artists to sign cards I own, I always tip (ie, increases my cost per card), so I have no problems paying extra when regularly buying cards.

I tried really hard to justify getting an Abyss (since the card is pretty terrible in legacy). I just wanted to get it for Sharuum honestly, since it's like super recurring removal that doesn't affect you. However, $100 for a card that is optional in Sharuum seemed like a bad deal.

Does this kind of miscut increase the value much? It's pretty obvious, though not as crazy as some of the others I've seen here.
