I know that Markers mentioned that Amy Weber doesn't sign cards any more, but I contacted her via facebook a few months ago and she seemed very nice and personable. I wasn't asking about autographs though. I was inquiring about magic art as well as checking into getting a piece of art done as a present and she seemed very willing to help me. You might want to think about treating the playmat like getting a commission done. I doubt it would be cheap, but I would think if you were really interested in it and didn't object to spending some money on it, you could make it happen.

As an Alpha collector I've always been worried about that. Until recently, Alpha and Beta cards had similar prices, but we are starting to see noticeable differences in some cases, so I wonder if it's really difficult to cut Beta's corners.

the newly cut corner would not show the same aging as it hasn't been exposed to play / use / elements / air for 20 years....

I just love Unlimited Duals. Don't ask me why. I know during grinders one of the guy kinda freaked out since over 70% of the deck is foiled and he never saw those Visionaries before.

I always enjoy a foil crop rotation, a cool oldframe foil, has to be played more imo :D
but since you prefer foil, why no JR natural orders?

German Necro is still one of my all time favorites to just look at, for whatever reason. Very aesthetically pleasing.

I couldn't do it Sean, playing with so many different languages in the same deck would drive me crazy.

However... I do love all the stuff you have, creases and all.

Well I think we've all concluded the muttertongue is the only way to go for language consistancy. You can't get Korean Autumn Willow for example, or Russian Su'quata Firewalker so at that point you can try to XXXXout your dekc but in eternal you are inevitably going to mix languages. I would like to upgrade a few things, I'd like a German Tinker because I feel like the Germans are an industrious people and thus would be involved in Tinkering ... more so than the Chinese who mostly just steal others ideas. I'd like a Korean Academy to replace my old beaten German one but I'm not completely set on that. I have 4 German Mind's Desires somewhere as I used them in my "Here is why Mind's Desire is banned.dec" deck. I need a Beta Mana Vault but I haven't found a beat one. I have 15 double signed lotus petals of various languages. Lotus blute is sweet but Koreen is better. Dark Ritual is debatable, I have betas, Korean Tempest (my favorite), and Gold Ink Signed Rebecca Guay Give Us Back the Eye T-Chinese Rituals. The tempest ones fucking rule because the flavor text is boss. The show and tell is german because I pretty much hate that card and don't want to invest in it. Mine is signed.

Speaking of signed, Rob Alexanders line was insane but I managed to get a few things signed and I paid a homeless man to go through the line for me whilst I was still winning on Saturday.

Yeah how Eric Deschamps ends up as Geiger Counter read out I'll never know. There are way more obtuse sigs, WAR, Julie Baroh literally makes a little loop by the set symbol, brom for being an iconic artist signs like a one fingered retarded child with rickets. However he is very friendly and had a much shorter line than Rob. 3 of the Ral's aren't mine but the Russian playset looks sweet all lined up. I fucking mind blanked that he did Red God and didn't bring mine. Fail.

I use to pimp in Japanese for a brief period, but went German because I like how it looks and it's available in a lot more sets than Japanese. Plus, I started liking character languages less for some odd reason. However, if have thought about pulling a Matt and go Russian/German/English, but I'm wanting to pimp Pokemon style as of late and don't want to drop money on Russian foils.

Also, if you're in need of 2 signed beta seas, I'm looking to move some, they're signed in silver though.

Yeah I have a set of antiquities ... I also randomly have a set of Japanese Chronicles I'd rather wipe my ass with than play. I thought the russian ones would be a bit cooler than they ended up being.
