I've never been a fan of full-frame alters unless the entire deck is full-framed. Now, when I start playing EDH I plan on getting the entire deck full-framed.
Apparently someone is a bit out of the loop on Commander popular foils. Using SCG prices that lot is valued at over $220. Pretty reasonable trade, its probably easier to find a Twister for trade then a few of those foils (specifically the Witness, Solemn and, my personal favorite, the Urborg).Quote:

The only reason I would have done that trade is if the timetwister was really beat up because then I wouldn't feel so bad afterwards trading a really beat card for some NM foils.

I would be pretty satisfied too, sure a Timetwister has some value in EDH (but I wouldn't personally sleeve it up in a casual deck), but I rank those nice EDH-foils higher, and a beat-up UNL Timetwister is probably the least impressive piece of power one can own.
