Feel free to keep $1800 on hold with Paypal though if you really want to.

Not sure if the pics are from other auctions; but it looks a little too good to be true in my books.
I would recommend having your cash on hold if you do go for it.
But Mini1337, it would complete your set of power even if it's not Unlimited.

I can vouch for the asking for trouble. I do this regularly. I do announce which land it is when I play it though. I have a set of signed Korean ones I swap in for big events.

Nothing says 'pimp' like rows in a digital database. Good luck with the internet security thing.

Thanks Koby, since mtgox was actually a magic site... (Magic the Gathering Online Exchange), I'll disclose my strategy for those who want to join in on the action.
1) Purchase BTC
2) Trade BTC for LTC -> ASICminers for LTC are scheduled to hit the network in January / February, I expect a big jump in the 160-300 range.
3) Trade LTC for NMC -> GPU & FPGA farmers will be forced out of the LTC network the same way they were forced out of BTC by Avalon. They will move on to bootstrap the hashrate of the next coin, which is NMC.
4) Sell NMC after the price hike
5) Watch the inevitable crash while holding no positions
6) Buy when the market stabilizes
Enjoy

What the heck do all your acronyms mean? That entire post is nonsensical cause there is no context....

Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
btc=bitcoin (Cryptocurrency from the fabled Satoshi)
ltc=litecoin (The first knock-off that works on a different algo than btc)
nmc=Namecoin (A coin based on DNS)
gpu=graphics processing unit (powerful machines that drain energy like hell and potentially set your house on fire if you don't cool them properly)
fpga=field programmable gate array (Energy efficient machines with weak power)
ASIC=application specific integrated circuit (i.e.: super mega powerful machines that make your latest gamer PC look like a 1960 calculator)
MTGOX = A magic shop that didn't make enough profit. The owner changed it into a stock exchange for Bitcoins which ultimately became the biggest cryptocurrency exchange in the world.

Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
Got these guys signed at GP Toronto. Don't have a full playset unfortunately but i don't plan on running 4 any time soon. One of these will live in my cube forever until it proves to be too stupid, or they make foil ones.

Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks
I know I'm probably not worthy to be posting in this thread, but I wanted to ask you gentlemen a question or two about pimping. First off, how should I start? In general, not on any current projects. I have a bit of a fetish for signed cards if that helps.

pimping is in the eye of the beholder.
some people like all betas
some don't like foils
some only like foreigns
some like signed
some like foreign foils
some like alters
really its all up to you however pimping typically follows one of those themes.
half the stuff in here while i respect cause its valuable i don't like. I dislike foreign cards and signatures. I enjoy very few alters. I do however enjoy betas and foils. I need 4 foil mistys to finish my playset of foil fetches. while some wouldn't really care to much about it others would.

How do you start? Save your pennies. Seriously. I don't drink, smoke, rarely eat out, etc. This adds up to where you can get the stuff you want. I have little expenses and an okay job. I just save my dough until I can purchase the stuff I want. TIP: always have rainy day card money. Worst thing is when you buy cards then someone needs cash and willing to sell stuff for cheap, and you have none left to spend.
@everyone else, awesome posts. Those Seas should belong to me ;)
Won some stuff on ebay, I'll wait until they're in to make another pimp post.

You can start with Signed/Altered English or foreign Non-foils, that's a good start. Prices of foreign foil/fbb/beta versions of older cards are getting out of hand lately, mostly because they are being collected and you never see them again in circulation, unless you have a really deep pocket if you know what I mean.

Pimp is in the eye of the beholder. Oh wait, that's notorious...
If you like signed cards, start with them. If you wish to make it a bit more challenging, go for some special language. Also, I'd start with a deck I love to play. This way you had nice cards and an excuse to pet with them every week. Win-win.
