Not to mention Yixlid Jailer ...

Turd Burglar
Human Rogue
If a card would be put in an opponent's graveyard from their hand, it is instead removed from the game. You may play cards removed from the game by ~ until the end of turn.
If the shit stinks, wear it. ~ Yakov, Turdshaper Apprentice

Too powerful?
Humiliating Mage - U(W/U)
Creature - Kithkin Wizard
As ~this~ enters the battlefield, name a creature card.
Creatures with the chosen name lose all abilities and are 0/1.
2/2
Not sure if this mash-up worked out very well:
Meddling Confidant WUB
Creature - Human Wizard
As ~ enters the battlefield, reveal the top card of your library and put that card into your hand. You lose life equal to its converted mana cost.
The revealed card can't be cast.

I like the Pylon idea. They should cost 2 and the color though, and make them rare. How about:
*Green* Pylon
2G
Enchantment
At the beginning of your upkeep, target creature gets +1/+1 until EOT.
Sacrifice ~: Target creature gets +3/+3 and trample until EOT.
*Red* Pylon
2R
Enchantment
At the beginning of your upkeep, ~ deals 1 damage to target creature.
Sacrifice ~: ~ Deals 4 damage to target creature.
*Blue* Pylon
2U
Enchantment
At the beginning of your upkeep you may reveal the top two cards of your library and put them back in any order, then you may shuffle your library.
Sacrifice ~: Draw three cards, then exile two cards from your hand.
*White* Pylon
2W
Enchantment
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may gain one life for each creature that has attacked since your last turn.
Sacrifice ~: Gain 2 life for each attacking creature.
*Artifact* Pylon
3
Artifact
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a charge counter on target artifact that has a charge counter on it.
Sacrifice ~: Remove any number of charge counters from artifacts you control, ~ deals damage to target player equal to the number of counters removed this way.
Come to think of it, shouldn't all the "Pylons" be colored artifacts?
Wow, the Blue Pylon is actually playable.
Also, how the hell is that Meddling Confidant even playable?
Maybe more similar to the original two:
Meddling Confidant :w::u::b:
Creature - Human Wizard
At the beginning of your upkeep reveal the first card of your library. Then choose one: add the revealed card to your hand and lose life equal to its converted mana cost, or the revealed card can't be cast and put the card on the bottom of your library.

Basically you can choose each turn whether it acts like a mage or like a confidant. The final clause is added to prevent the card disadvantage you will otherwise get, making the second ability almost useless.
How about something for Merfolk:
Smell the Merfolk Glove :u::u:
Tribal Instant - Merfolk
You may reveal a Merfolk card from your hand to reduce the casting cost by :u:.
Counter target spell.
B
Pull My Finger
Sorcery
Pay 1 life: Choose and discard a card. Target player reveals his or her hand and you choose a card from it. That player discards that card.
Great with Goyf, great with dredge, bad with most everything else. Ok I lied. It's probably too good.
Yeah, Android. That's broken. Targeted discard that can occasionally manascrew the opponent is pretty sick.
And Reanimator would jizz itself for this card. Dump a dude AND take your best card....that's sweet. Please Wizards?
But, is it good enough to replace Duress/Cabal Therapy/Thoughtseize in ALL cases? I think not. They have a way of creating cards that fill similar roles but in exchange for versatility, they gain superior niche roles. Is this not true for Thoughtseize (which has not replaced Duress or Cabal Therapy in all cases)?
Perhaps it would be more realistic if they scooted your discard on the other side of the colon. That way the card would be incredibly risky to play. Pay B, 1 life, discard -> counter -> ack, I'm fucked!
No, it wouldn't replace them in all cases, but there are some decks that can use the discard portion to good effect. Decks with Bloodghast/Nether Spirit decks with crucible, LEDless Dredge might use it (probably not), Reanimator.
Otherwise, it's. 2 for 1 that could be fantastic or a dud, depending on the hand you see.
Walk on your face W
Instant
As an additional cost to cast Walk on your face, sacrifice a planeswalker.
Choose an ability of this planeswalker and play it.
Not sure about the wording.
Walk On Your Face
W
Instant
As an additional cost to play ~, sacrifice a Planeswalker.
Choose an activated ability of the sacrificed Planeswalker and put a copy of that ability on the stack.
That seems like the best way I can think of to word it.
cast > play since M10.
there is never caps with card's types.
Apart from these points I agree that your wording is better than mine. I'm still not sure it's good enough.
Dredgeking BBBB:1:
Summon - Legendary Undead Lord
When Dredgeking enters play, all your opponents lose 1 life for each card in your graveyard.
When Dredgeking leaves play, all your opponents lose 1 life for each card in your graveyard

I'd like to see this printed  .
