Pretty certain theres dtill quite a few sealed boosters and there might still be a sealed box. Ben is correct: i know multiple people corroborating that employees took stuff home from summer that was going to be binned, especially cool playable stuff at the time. Ive heard that argument holds up for people trying to complete summer sets: garbage rares can be harder to find than big name cards, but its really not known how many are in circulation and how many are still held by ex employees who wont sell...yet.Quote:

Quick pimping question:
I was thinking of purchasing some NM Beta Mountains, but I can't decide on which art I like / looks nicer in person. I've never been able to compare all three in NM condition together, so I'm mostly basing it off of online pictures. I'm leaning toward http://magiccards.info/be/en/286.html, mostly because I can't afford Arabian Knights mountains, but I dislike how on that particular land, the text is more of a white color and not the graphite-like gray colors on the others. What would you guys suggest?

Uh ... because waste of time? I'm not selling any of my stuff so condition is moot. I power shuffle my vintage deck. It's hard to riffle shuffle in double sleeves. Finally I keep my cards in 9 up binders and you can't stuff 4 perfect fitted cards in a pocket. I also don't own "a deck" I own 4 of almost anything you'd want 4 of, that's a lot of things to perfectly fit.Quote:

Legacy Storm combo. A black border Trop is incoming and the Volc can be swapped with the one above. The fetches aren't pimp yet. Since I received from very good news last week, I decided to treat myself just a little bit.
At SCG Seattle, I saw a gentleman with a binder full of Summer Magic. We got to talking and it turned out, he opened it all back in England with a bunch of his buddies in 1994, and all of it was pretty nice. Hurkyl's Recall, Copy Artifact, Basic lands, and a ton more. I traded for a Summer Island as a treat for myself, but it was nice to see someone who was actually THERE and saw it happen.
