Sounds like an arbitrage opportunity if one could find buyers who did care... ;)

That being said, there must be creative ways to send Wizards a message. Besides putting a sign in the parking lot, playing Arena, and boycotts...
Luckily, my LGS tends to get new releases that are printed in Japan but those boxes are in limited supply. When I see sealed product "Made in the USA" I have to reconsider my purchase; the card quality is unacceptable. When do people catch on and start listing print quality on eBay, TCG player, etc? Happy new year Source!!
Clear and obvious solution: summon Reddit. Hey, if they can mess with Gamestop's stock price, imagine what they could do to Hasbro!

Can we make a new thread where we complain about the low RL prices this thread was raging against?

Re: [Official] Bitching About Prices, Buyouts and Reprints Thread
Phyrexian Dreadnought really went up in price in the last days. The cheapest NM english one on MKM is now over 100 euros. See https://www.cardmarket.com/en/Magic/...minCondition=2 . Another buyout?

I believe Premodern and reserved list is the reason.

Re: [Official] Bitching About Prices, Buyouts and Reprints Thread
I'm glad I picked up my City of Traitors when they were at $180 each. I think that spike is here to stay.

Not sure what their exact wording was, but I don't think they said anything about functionally identical cards, only that those versions/arts would be exclusive.

This is for future bullshit cards only, right?
AMC Networks Incorporated cards will remain wholly bullshit forever then?

I think you'll have to wait six month to see if that is the case :)

Yes, it is explicitly stated in the article that it is only for future release and that they are not going back to do the same thing for the Walking Dead stuff.

Having just returned to Magic after a few years away, I can't believe the prices. 0_o
I also can't believe I thought they were bad before.

We all thought the same thing 10 years ago. And every moment since, haha. We probably will continue to until we die or something,.

I know. I still remember deciding that I'd stick to just two Underground Seas because that's all my deck used, and they were $27 apiece. *facepalm*

I remember stressing out about paying $12 for that 4th FoW I needed for my Landstill deck 15 or so years ago. That was also when I was selling my LGS two Ravnica shocklands for one Revised dual land. I wish I could get that deal again, I picked up so many duals making that deal...

I hear ya! If only I'd started making real money in my twenties instead of my mid-thirties! I'd eyed some Power at one point but decided I didn't want to skimp that much on food for so long. Sigh. Today, I'd sell it and put the proceeds towards a house!
If anyone is even buying Power these days, which seems impossible.
