I also got a 3-in-1 printer/scanner/copier today, so I can get some better images up soon. If I don't go to the Meandeck Open on the 18th (this Sunday), they'll be going to my artist to begin altering.
Black Lotus: Princess Celestia
Mox Ruby: Trixie
Ancestral Recall: Pinkie Pie
Time Vault: Twilight Sparkle
The duals are getting Guru altered by the same artist. And eventually my Tezzeret the Seekers and Voltaic Keys will be altered into Spike (fitting since Twilight Sparkle is Time Vault). So once all this work is done, the deck will be 100% foiled or black bordered. And then I need to take it to GenCon Vintage Worlds.
Dude, no offense but I gotta say this. Seeing those Moxen with ponies on them really make me
But other than that great deck, very inspiring for a Vintage enthusiast.
After I get my scanner set up tonight after work, I'll get scans of the fronts and backs of each card. You'll feel a lot better after that.
EDIT: Got the new scanner/printer/copier working and here are the scans of the Power. Forgive the cropping...I didn't realize the scanner didn't scan all the way to the edge.
Fronts and backs are in the same scan location in the pictures.

Buddy got this from Terese Nielsen
the alter of those birds is very nice!
I dont know, I was always uninterested in pimping out a deck, until I watched Bryant Cook play his Epic Storm deck.
the only cards that weren't seemingly foreign, signed and foiled, were his FBB duals, which I think were all signed.
It was epic.
Loving the ponders. Lorwyn ponders are so much better than M10's.
For my taste it needs M10 Ponder's and Willenskraft, apart from that this is the most beautiful Legacy-Deck I can think of. I am really not into all that foreign "my wallet's bigger than yours" stuff and love mint english cards in most cases.
This is gorgeous.
I don't really like the M10 ponder because there are already approximately 300 cards that use balls representing the different colors of magic. Even though M10 ponder doesn't represent the colors but time, all I see is another card with balls.
The Lorwyn ponder was the ponder as it was intended to be. In fact, I think it should have been a Tribal - Merfolk Sorcery. The flavor text fits the artwork very well too. When you look at the sky from underneath the water, everything is distorted. The best part of it is that it has the Lorwyn art direction though. Lorwyn was one of the most beautiful sets/blocks in Magic history. The most important reason however, is that I have a rule to only acquire cards in the original foil printing. The only alternate art I'd accept is 7th edition foil.
I believe Savitar also collects by this rule, judging from his Wastelands and Lightning Bolts.
Nice deck, awful scanner though which makes colors washed out.
This would have been insane for growing Goyf:laugh:.
That is true. Lorwyn is just awesome, even if I can't take half the card names seriously (Especially in german. Quietschkuchen-Schleicher anyone?).
I for myself don't like the Lorwyn Ponder that much because of that Merfolk in the picture. I am not the biggest fan of including Tribes in such a deck, even if it's just flavourwise, so I stick to M10. M12 is something I would not want to play though. I am pretty picky when it comes down to details and I hate even numbers that don't end on 0. Can't help myself.
A completely different question regarding FWB-Duals. Why are they so cheap?
I think that the printed numbers of those do not distinguish so heavily from FBB and in terms of availability I never had the impression that markets are flooded out with them, like Revised for example. The colour that was used to print them is also (like FBB) a bit darker than Revised which looks way more classy IMO.
there are even less FWB duals than FBB. print time was much shorter for them.
they are not so expensive because they are foreign and wb.
many people prefer revised although revised duals look like crap. i am one of the few that prefer FWB.
If you want pimp WB duals you go unlimited.
