Re: All B/R update speculation.
Why? It's a miserable uninteractive deck that isn't the least bit interesting game one.

The list seems actually quite playable right now. Sacrifice- and Wrath-effects are of highest value right now due to TNN and the prevalence of Tempodecks. Of course you would have to exchange the janky and dated stuff like Loxodon Hierarch with some good stuff like Grave Titan, but I wouldn't necessarily refuse to play such a deck currently.
You'd probably just run planeswalkers. I always sideboarded the Hierarchs. Matt Abold's list here is closer to what I ran at the time.
Man I remember bugging the shit out of him on the phone during that top 8 too, holy shit that was obnoxious.
Although I remember from my foray last year into BUGStill thinking that the Obstinate Baloths out of the board were amazing in probably 50% of my matchups and arguably maindeckable. Fantastic against all the RUG and BUG decks. Nuts to your Liliana.

Because it's different.
Re: All B/R update speculation.
Another week, another 28/32 Brainstorms in the top 8. Also 4 weeks in a row of a delver deck winning

And Wizards doesn't care in the slightest. I expect no format changes, maybe some Modern changes, just because they love to mess with ban list.
Re: All B/R update speculation.
A top 8 with half delvers, blue is the best beatdown ... yay color pie!

That's entirely subjective - and depends on who's playing it.
Fuck the stack.

Another week, lands in 8/8 of the top 8. What ever happened to Manaless Dredge, Recross the Paths Belcher and Oops all Spells? The format is whack.

Bad comparison is bad.

Another week with 8/8 decks of the top 8 that are playing a 15 cards sideboard. We need more people playing with a 0 card sideboard. Please ban sideboards.
Re: All B/R update speculation.
While I understand the meta-humor going on here, I also don't like the dismissal of requests for bans. While the meta should be given time to adapt, I've had time to quit for a year or two, come back, and find Delver is still oppressive.

So 30 different land cards in a top 8, as opposed to Brainstorm (one card) making up 77% of the decks?

Depends on people.

I think it's price tag and that it doesn't fit in many other decks scares people off on Imperial Painter. I use it on MTGO with great results.
Re: All B/R update speculation.
I feel a some legacy cards can be unbanned, yet the stay on the list.
I wonder if you can prove to us, a la Caleb ( by providing a 60 card deck list), that the below are worth to stay banned in Legacy:
black vise
Mind twist
Mind's desire
Yawgmoth's bargain
Let's avoid generic statements and focus on the deck lists.

Mind Twist will most likely be completely broken a burning wish deck. That's at least, what I'd build for it.
Mind's Desire and Yawgmoths Bargain should never come off. The thing about Minds Desire is that, legacy doesn't have a restricted list, which means that you can play 4 of them. That means you can desire into desire, which means you actually get to play your entire deck, as soon as you go off.

Why bother? The card would never actually contribute positively to the format's health or increase the number of actually fun games.
