The board? There's no way SoWaP is playable now. It's okay in the mirror. That's it.

True-Name Nemesis gets a lot better. Combo Summer it is.

I guess this will make the black splash more attractive. Decks packing green (with Leovold) will probably be an even more common matchup, which increases Perish's relevance. Black can also more reliably handle True-Name Nemesis (Zaelous Persecution, Orzhov Pontiff), and provides post-board interaction with Combo decks (Thoughtseize).
We're playing in interesting times.
The only problem I see is Elves having alot less resistance now. Some kind of splash might be a good idea now.
So, is revoker now a sideboard card?
I mean the meta is gonna be filled with Elves, SnS, Storm, Griselbrand decks, TNN+Jitte, there's plenty of targets.
I wouldn't be surprised if moving down to two revokers ends up being fine.
hi,
been playing some time with both one copy of magus of moon and orzov pontiff on SB ( 1 copy magus main) in a 3 cavern human build... strategy might have a time to shine now , with a small splash to both sides
as the romans said ... may you live in interesting times ..
Assuming Chrome Mox gets a bump in value for us so we can get on the board more quickly against the likely upsurge of combo.
The only problem with Chrome Mox is that it is a terrible card.
Bye bye cavern of souls. Serra avenger and aven mindcensor seems very interesting now.
Cavern is a liability now. I'm going to cut the two I was playing for a Plains and Horizon Canopy.
To beat TNN, which will be a huge player in the coming metagame, I think Blessed Alliance is a good option. It'll also help with an influx of Burn, meant to beat up BUGx Midrange decks, and UR Delver, meant to beat up on combo decks like Storm that'll see more play. Council's Judgment can be a bit too slow and Alliance is extremely versatile.
Going to a GPT in New York this weekend, but I doubt I'll be on D&T. We're a metagame deck and the metagame is completely unknown right now. This is my favorite deck of all time and I've never played another deck at a Legacy competitive REL tournament. Trying new things out should be fun.
Back to imperial recruiter for the red splash to support magus of the moat for the inevitable elves onslaught? Enlightened tutor went from being fringe playable to completely unplayable with miracles playing predict. that on the radar again?
I'd personally prefer to keep an open mind. With how much this will shake the meta, some previously tested cards may have improved results. I only mentioned Chrome Mox specifically because I know Medea was testing with them in December. Maybe Diamond? Or Spirit Guides? This is only based on the assumption that the meta will speed up and become more combo based.
In the dark I'm going to start by adjusting some of my maindeck bears/beaters. Despite my distaste for the cards in the main, it may be time to try out things like Canonist and SotL again.
Yeah I don't think maindeck Ethersworn is crazy.
